OK, I really hope the editing was just weird here because I am so confused on how Peggy goes from an argument with Kelly, straight into scolding Meghan about her baby crying. That was so cruel to watch.
Peggy was trying to tell Meghan's bitch ass that her baby was crying that is why she was going to the room where they were at to let her know. When she was outside the room she thought their laughter was at her. But that is how she turned to Meghan and was trying to explain but of course everyone chimed in twisting shit. I wish Lydia would've just translated the whole thing.

i dont understand how peggy has been living in the us since she was 1 year old( or somthing like that) and still seem like a foreigner
when you live among it in the family, you pick up whatever language they speak first and their accents. Hispanics also born in usa also carry heavy accents because that is their lifestyle outside of school etc. It's the family and relatives that pass it down... I dont think peggy's accent is all that bad and its that accent that many lebanese and armenians have that tend have a tone of aggression or anger, but it's not at all. the hearts are so kind underneath it all as well as the culture.. it's just they sound harder than they are.. lots of middle easterners would be another example of tone issues in the western nations. She's funnier than heck very witty and dry humor which also these womenn don't get as badly as she not getting our slang and cliches'... I hope peggy stays around for awhile. I love her with Vicky.
Unfair how they immediately assumed that Peggy was criticising Meghan over her baby. She was trying to explain the entire situation - Peggy was too honest and naïve for these ladies. She was giving the whole story (granted, she didn't need to) but wanted to explain her full actions. Before she had a chance to fully explain herself, Meghan went straight into victim-mode (probably felt guilty for leaving her daughter with her cousin/alone whilst she got pissed) and Shannon just went into crazy, shouting mode as she always does. Poor Peggy barely got a chance to explain herself without all these crazies attacking her. And that is the issue - and I guess - part of the drama/entertainment with these shows. One thing happens...it's between two people but then so many other wade in and it becomes a full on circus.

Meghan already let it rip as a guest on a podcast months back that she begged for her job back on this show because she didn't want to be at home in St. Louis stuck in the house with a baby, and that as a person who loves to be the center of attention it's natural that she became a tv star. Quite frankly, I think that baby is just an accessory and insurance for her as a trophy wife now, however her mothermood journey may have started out originally...bless her heart.

You're right that there's not a lot of diversity in RHOC, but I imagine that's due mostly to the area's demographic, just like RHOA is mostly black women and RHONJ is mostly Italians

It seems like the comment about Meghan's baby crying was an aside. Yes, she would have been able to deduce the time based on how long she recorded. Tamara did try to make it seem like Peggy was drunk and offensive by saying "alcohol was involved" and not "we had been drinking." She couldn't even say what Peggy did to offend her or Kelly. These women grasp at straws and cannot stand anyone else coming of better than they do.

peggy was recording the laughing and conversation going on the baby crying was background. she mentions it as a memory jogger as to the timing of when said laughter at her occurred. Mehgan is a selfish mom, but the baby was not the focus of this taping.
