It is similar here in the Philippines, I think the used clothing stores just dump what they don't sell on the beaches. You are not the only one collecting data, I have a few times but just don't have the man power to do it full time,,,and then what? I have not seen anything done with the data like going into the neighborhoods educating the residents. Or confronting the distributors of those packaging's. I have had success educating on the beach picnic areas handing out sacks and having the residents picking up their own trash and others,,,yes it works. I enjoy seeing you make a difference,,,keep up the good work....
