It's a crazy amount of work and constant training that needs to run 24/7. It's awe inspiring.
"Life Inside World’s Largest US Aircraft Carrier Ever Made"???
Nothing about living conditions or food
Have a great video ❤
Life can vary from tedium to all our high pressure high danger. If you have a 1000 sq ft house imagine 80 guys sleeping in it. Two shift 12 on 12 off. It's noisy and there is activity every where all the time
Food good by and large. Breakfast lunch or dinner all day. Today they have Wi-Fi to contact home it used to be only mail. The friendships you made can last a lifetime I'm still in touch with our little group. It's hard being away from home it's hard when you spend 3-4 months and never feel dry land. The dedication and pride of those who do this is second to none. Remember probably 2/3;of the guys on any ship are 18-24 yrs old and running a floating airport.
My name is Marvin l need help l want to go America but my l don't have money and passport l m free everywhere in Africa please makeng a plan l want to come in America
Having served on the USS Eisenhower this is a very accurate video and I loved it. The dangers are real the pressure can be intense. All this goes on 24/7. Thanks for showing this. Go Navy
Rode on diesel powered stick shift battle scarred ladies for my whole career, joined at the hip to A7s, saw fight deck change from F4 to F14 and left my last command just before FA18s graced Shitty Kitty's flight deck and now 😢😢, she been scrapped. Videos like this give me either fond memories or PTSD flashbacks. Drama and disaster fer shure. Head up and on a swivel on the flight deck🤨, flight ops or not

Informative video. What would make it 5 star would be an explanation of what job they are exactly doing.

@@AnnieMpofu Well, you will need both, if you want to visit the USA.
And still can’t believe 1 cable stops these jets when landing back on carrier
It's no mere "cable". And one of four await returning aircraft.
01 December 1941 the United States had 8 aircraft carriers.
Enterprise CVN commissioned November 1961.
Brings back memories.
i am wondering when there is much wind in the ocean and weaves, how do the crew survive in this massive ferry
Lol
The ship doesn't rock or pitch due to its mass. When it does you hardly notice. Waves can come over flight deck which is 90 ft above water but not often. Most of the time unless to work on flight deck you never see it. I worked nights 12 hr shifts in the magazines with ammunition. I might not see day light 2-3 weeks at a time and that's weird. When you finally do you feel like groundhog poking your head out. It takes a bit to adjust
@@douge2331 , thanks for a look at experiences I never had. And for your service to our country.
Unrep and vertrep you oughta see the actvity of 2 carrier groups and some NATO ships do a combined unrep vert rep. We had an oiler on one side a supply ship on the other and CH46s like a swarm of bees over the flight deck and elevators. Me😳

There's unemployment when there's not Ocean for trade
So if it gets hit by a missile or a bomb ? What happens 😢😢
