from the day I started pre school till first grade i had friends then in first grade till the spring of 2010 which is 8 year span I had no friends so music got me through it especially MCR I used to spend all my free time ( my def of free time is not in school and not with family) in my room listening to music and MCR was the one I listen to the most
never saw MCR live wish I did. My Chemical Romance is my all time favorite band I got in to them in 04 with there album Three cheers For Sweat Revenge (my 2nd favorite MCR album prob 2nd favorite album of all time too also this album has my 2nd favorite song of all time on it I'm not ok) then in 2006 they released my all time favorite album the black parade (favorite MCR album) also Famous last words became my all time favorite song then they released there album Danger days in 2010 (my third favorite album by MCR also summertime became my favorite song of 2010) then they released the song the light behind your eyes which is my 3rd favorite song of all time and my favorite song of 2012 then in 2013 they broke up (just to you know If I told you my all time favorite songs they would not all be MCR songs just the first three happen to be MCR songs)
when MCR broke up I found out about it in the morning around 7 am and then i preceded to cry my eyes out until dinner time when MCR broke up I got extremely depressed (more depressed then I have ever been in my entire life) for 1 or 2 months and cried a lot in those 2 months this was and still is the worst thing ever to happen to me I was obsessed with MCR I freaked out over MCR I looked up to MCR MCR is my hero and the only band that come close to meaning this much to me is Twenty One Pilots. From 04 or 05 till now I play all there albums especially the black parade extremely regularly I have never cried this much over something and I have never loved something as much as I love MCR they mean the world to me and I cant thank them enough for helping me throughout my entire life heck there still helping me out IM IN LOVE WITH MCR.
other bands that I buy everything from and that mean the world to me the only band that comes close to meaning as much to me as MCR is Twenty one pilots. twenty one pilots almost means as much to me as MCR

Everyone is commenting about how MCR is not together anymore but it will be okay. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. They helped us through our darkest moments and all of our times. They were here when no one was. You were happy when they sang so instead being sad when you listen to their songs be happy like you used to. You might not have been able to see them in concert anymore just know that they were happy and you were too.

I discovered this band in the fall of 2013. I didn't look much in to them, just listened to the songs I thought were good. Then in the summer of 2014 i did some research to see if they were going on a tour any time soon and my heart broke. It's still broken and i think it will be for a long time. I can't listen to some of their songs or watch music videos because it will instantly make me cry.
They make me absolutely ball like a baby but I love em an listen to em anyway #WellCarryOn but it's hard and it always will be and to be honest here the heartbreak never truly goes away sometimes for a split second you can fool yourself into happiness and for that split second you think well at least I have the albums videos photos and interviews and that's the truth and we know it but sometimes we are in so much pain that we can't see clearly WOW I sound like a loved one died and to me loved ones were lost they literally saved my life and still do I still listen to them I listen to their solo careers and read Gerard's comics I love them and still need them and the thing is is that I still have them we all do they still care for their fans as much or more than we still care about them. Sorry for the long post but I needed to get this message out there

I missed out on this band in their heyday. Only a recent discovery for me. I am not probably the typical fan. I am 60 years old. But damn these guys were amazing. Just great songs and really solid playing. For some of us old timers, good music didn't suddenly stop at the end of the 70's.
