Lol Disney or hero movies where the guy always gets the girl REGARDLESS of how little he did or how crappy he was. Not just little girls who have faced backlash from that type of entertainment at a young age.
Every movie I ever remember watching the guy saved the day before he got the girl? Never watched one where the hero doesn't do anything all movie? What Disney movie is that?
@@user-fd8fe9hk9q I never said they did nothing, I said some of them did the bare minimum or were kinda crappy men. The dude Cinderella fell in love with literally only hung out with her once and tried to return a shoe to her. That's bare minimum. Women don't need to be saved and just because they are saved doesn't mean that the woman is then obligated to be with them. However, that's literally the story of a lot of Disney movies so now boys think oh if I just save her or give the bare minimum, they are obligated to be with me. Sure they might not outwardly think or say that, but that's how a good portion act. Like how men feel if they buy you dinner or drinks that you owe them something. Why can't men just do nice or good things without getting the girl? Why do women have to owe them something or fall in love with them because they were a nice person? Being nice again is the bare minimum.
@@kayt6612 I get where ur coming from and thats true but in a story like cinderella for example its more about how two people are fated to be together, even a act as small as losing a shoe can bring two people as unlikely as a prince and an orphan together. But it also questions whether it was fate or not, since if cinderella and the prince where not pure hearted then the simple act of returning a lost shoe would not have resulted in a blossoming love. The shoe wouldnt have fit so to speak. You have to remember that the prince tried to give the shoe to the stepsisters first, who tried to claim it, but could not. In other words its an allegory, as most of the classic disney stories are. I think your purposely interpreting the films in the most uncharitable and literal way possible for the sake of proving a point, which is fair enough i suppose because its not the worst of point to make. Still thogh, theres no need to throw the baby out with the bath water, the classics are classic for a reason.
In the realms of race or sex ‘right wing’ usually stands for true. Green lines represents an important truth for men: if you ‘lean in’ she will come to despise you. Whether or not a single photograph captures that accurately doesn’t detract from its truth.
