I had no idea that Coleco started out as a leather company. It seems like a strange origin for an electronics company, made even stranger by the fact that its not the only one. Tandy also started out as a leather company.

The Coleco gets a bit of undue criticism from time to time, but it was miles better than the Atari VCS/2600 and Intellivision etc.....
