Probably because I'm new and not sick of it yet, but I personally like sharpening/honing knives just as much as carving! I love these knives. Just strop them every 30m-1h carving time (probably even that is overkill... But like I said, I enjoy it ha) and they cut through basswood like butter. As a beginner who has fallen in love with carving from the first cut, I already feel a strong attachment to these knives and the awesome pouch/strop.

I started with a flex cut detail knife,. With the exception of that knife and a Micro "v" tool and skew knife, I now own all Beavercraft tools I feel the change to beavercraft was an up grade for me. I carve Cherry wood , so with the thicker blade of Beavercraft knives I have way more control.. I just don't see the need for me to use any other company at this point . Good video and Thank you.

hi i have a question, first of all tho rlly great video!!, but anyway yes im going to buy this kit as someone whos never done this stuff before, but after using these knives for a while i would need sandpaper of varying grits right? when it gets too blunt? or no? 🤔
