I used a regular full with Remington nitro turkey #5 on one bird, and the other was #9 Apex on the other. Both 20 gauge shells at 15 and 26 yards. Good video!
I have the mossberg sa 20ga turkey gun. I have a Indian Creek .555 choke. And patternmaster anaconda .570. With tss in 9's. I even carry the mossberg 500 and sa in 410's. In the tss turkey guns. Indian Creek .385 chokes. Apex Ninja 9.5 shot. All 3 have reflex red dots on each setup. Try 9's or 9.5 in tss in your 20ga. If your state allows it.
Which one is your favorite? Looking at moving away from the Stoeger and moving to a sa 20, franchi affinity turkey, Tristar viper g2, or a Winchester sxp.. either way I will be running Indian creek .555
@@lukeschumacher7355 never had a franchi. Mossberg makes 2 20ga turkey. With and without pistol grip. Tristar g2 same way. Tristar and mossberg u have to shoot a box heavy loads. To brake the spring in. I like both. I am in process of buy the mossberg SA 28ga turkey gun. Tristar makes a SA 28ga too. Both has pistol grip. Mossberg and Tristar has 22 or 24 inch barrel. Mossberg tukey gun come with only turkey choke. I thing Tristar comes with 4 or 5 choke
@@ozark_trapper good information there! I definitely want one that has a pistol grip. Thinking I’m leaning towards the Mossberg sa 20 semi auto or the Tristar 20 gauge.
@@lukeschumacher7355 i have 2 mossberg's and 2 Tristar G2 Viper. I have a tristar G2 viper 28ga. I use it squirrel hunting. Best money i ever spent. Blue collar outdoors on here. They have both mossberg and Tristar with pistol grips. U can see them on there.
Good looking pattern there!

@@ozark_trapper awesome! Thank you so much for all the insider information!
Can you shoot slugs, and Buckshot, also?
I don't hunt with slugs or buckshot. I can honestly say, I don't know....
I have a Mossberg 500 in 20 that has a separate slug barrel.
Does it take regular mossberg chokes
The gun came with 3 chokes. I purchased a turkey choke for it.
No the SA models take beretta mobil chokes.
