Omg yes. It would have been an important anti-war sing even without the invasion as its seldom that ordinary people from a war zone are able to tell their storirs as their own authentic work rather than through the lens of someone else's agenda. It's about their hometown getting caught in the 2014 war with Russian LGMs and puppets. Since the invasion "we want our home back" has become a refrain for them.
I love the fact that Jinjer ignores conventional verse, chorus, verse song structures and choose to just take you on a journey!
This whole album is truly a masterpiece. Must checkout Mediator, Disclosure, Call Me A Symbol, Wallflower off this record too.

There's another candid video you might enjoy. Tatiana played a game called "Man or Best" for Revolver Magazine that is on UA-cam. It's a fun video. Her personality really shines in that one. Not something you would need to react to although a few people have. Just a fun watch. I think I already made suggestions in a previous video but you might try I Speak Astronomy, Who is Gonna be the One and maybe some of their older songs like No Hoard of Value or a Plus or Minus.
Should be great, as always...none better then JINJER.
This is one of the songs that was the most impressive the last time I saw them live in 2023. The middle section where Tati quickly switches back-and-forth from cleans to growls is really impressive live.

this was deffo a pivotal song for me on my Jinjer journey. Vlad's work on this is simply eargasmic -- some of my favorite drum work anywhere. he did most of the writing on this album, and it really shows their evolution as a band.

Love how low she gets at the end. My favorite song from the 2021 Wallflowers album, you're first listen to any track from there. Vlad, Eugene , and Roman killing it too. Disclosure, Mediator, Call Me A Symbol, and the title track are more from this album. Next? Check out Home Back, about the fighting that started in 2014 in their native Ukraine.
This song finally got me on the hook. A once in a lifetime great band.

That video makes you feel like you're in it. Jinjer is fire!! I feel like a lot of people sleep on the rest of the band because Tati is so amazing, but they are all fantastic!! What next? You probably know what I'm gonna say.... Judgement and Punishment one take vocal.
There are players and than there are PLAYERS. JINJER is the BEST at what they do. NO one produces lyrics like Tati and no players PLAY like the PLAYERS in JINJER. I am 76 years old, worked in the music business for over 40 years. JINJER is the BEST in all aspects...
Respect man! And full agreement. I'm 61, and a pro bassist/singer for 45 years. I'm a huge Rush fan, saw them 36x live. Jinjer is on that level, along with the handful of best bands in the world. They're hard to beat live too.

One if my favorite by them. Might check out Sit, Stay, Roll Over. It is earlier, and with their previous drummer, but it is hard as hell and is the song that got them their contract with Napalm.
You can really hear the Opeth influence in this one.
Nice reaction as usal. I really wish you'd reacted to the live version for this one, it's even more crazy! It's difficult to suggest a soing from jinjer because there is no bad song! So let's make proposal by ambiance:

Great reaction! I would recommend watching some songs in pairs - for example, On the top (clip + live performance) and Judgment & Punishment (clip + vocals in one take).
Alissa from Arch Enemy is a fantastic vocalist as well and would certainly checkout Handshake With Hell, The Watcher, Deceiver Deceiver.
Also Courtney from Spiritbox is awesome. Holy Roller, Rule of Nines, Cellar Door.
I don’t think either are as good and as diverse as Tati but both are special and unique in their own great way.
Love it when they go for the through-composed thing. Who needs a chorus anyway?!

You're already a goner bro! You've been Jinjer-rolled! You've gotta check out Just Another. There's a moment where she's just melting faces with her scream, then she turns and smiles at the camera and if your heart isn't already gone, that'll do the trick! Also Who Is Gonna Be the One live will blow you away with the low low gutterals at the end.
When you see them live, make sure to see at least one headlining show at a small venue. Get your moshing shoes on and get ready for the best show you've ever seen!

If you wanna be really impressed by a female metal vocalist I would recommend the Japanese band Hanabie. Try their newest song Otaku lovely Densetsu. They’re unbelievably sick and unique.
