    Hi Frank,
If this is your new baler, I have a couple of tips for you to ensure you have a good run with it.
1: Sprockets on the pick up and the side feed augers in the feed system use a hex shaft with a hex bore in the sprockets and the bearings the augers mount into.
There is too much clearance between the bores and the shafts, which causes the hex’s to flog out prematurely and also accentuate chain wear. If you dismantle these and refit them with Loctite 660 (Quick Metal), it will take up the tolerance and ensure the pick up won’t flog itself to bits prematurely.
2: Insert the duck bill and ensure the return springs measure the same on both sides of the baler, this will prevent premature wear in the nylon bush on the left side duck bill arm.
3: Keep an eye on the pick up chain tension. The right side adjuster rod can occasionally bend and for some reasons these balers are harder on pick up chains than the pervious series of BR balers.
All in all they are not a bad baler, enjoy it!
