Received mine yesterday. You guys nailed it in the review. I just want to add that the texture of saturated guitars in the mids is awesome for the price. Passive noise isolation on the other hand is below average. But overall, amazing buds for the price!!!
Oh Moondrop, they have amazing value with sound that punches above the price range. I just hope they would work more on their app. In terms of sound I would pick the Sparks over any Sony or Samsung earbuds every time. For someone who needs earbuds and don't need all the extra features I would probably choose these as a first option.
@@LateBandwagon nah they’re still the goats, the chu 2 are one of the best price to performance sets ever.. and the space travel are arguably THE best price to performance tws of all time.
The Donner Do buds changed the game for me. Creative is about ready to launch earbuds with solid state speakers. I believe the drivers are silicone-based. That will really change the game. Nice review thank you. 💯👍🇺🇸
Its nice that you guys are reviewing actual budget wireless earphones. I think a cheap pair that will change these will be the Donner Do buds. Would love to see a review.
Love them. I have several more under 30 w coupon that are almost comparable to my very best. There are exceptions because cheaper buds usually don't have app support, or fancy codecs that suck up your battery life or actual buttons. But I notice that they seem to be superior in the volume department on the whole, and they are usually comfortable which is a huge deal. They also connect better for the most part. My s8 pros by kurdene stayed connected across the parking lot with an apartment building blocking my house. I notice that the under 30 buds are arriving with special touches and I'm amazed.
@DHRME Well I just ordered these for 21.95 from Amazon, thanks to you. I have a strict budget I live on but you guys ive bought 75 pairs since March. I started out with Sony, Samsung, and Beats but I have small ears and I struggle to get a good seal. I bought the Back bay buds for 40 dollars and after that I was hooked. Not sure if your asking about my more expensive ones or the cheap ones. I have the liberty 3 pros and 4s, all the 1mores, soundpeats opera 5 and the nothing ear sticks and 2s, the oneplus buds pro 1 and 2, Sony 4s and linkbuds, realme air pro 5s, Samsung Buds2 pro and pro 1, jabra 7 pro and the 75t active. On the truly cheap side between 15 and 30, I have 2 pairs of Qros classics and eversound, umdigidi which come with an app, a travel porch and 5 tips. The baseus airnora are fabulous. The Melo buds. I got the sudio n2 pros for 35. The true free 3 and a pair of transparent buds for 16.50 regular 35 called jysxp or something like that and the sound is great (noise canceling included). I have several skull candy and tozos and edifiers. And jlab and jbl. The hekapa x9s aren't bad for 7 dollars I paid. I can go on and on.
Thx for sharing. I still miss my Moondrop Nekocakes as it was only one of a few stem-style earbuds that sat comfortably in my ears. Not sure I can try these w/o an IPX-rating and the case will get debris in it from my end. Thx for sharing!!
I just got those, ordered for 22€ on amazon the day you dropped the video and just got them today (shipped from china). I was worried at first, the default controls are horrendous, I still can't find the app the only QR code I found in the box was for some chinese social app called QQ. The tips are all very thin and small, only the large ones work for me and I don't think I have large ears. The maximum sound level is pretty low compare to other earbuds. But damn the sound quality is unbeatable for the price, they're super confortable as well if you can find the right tip, and what I love the most is how they don't need a perfect seal to have basses it helps but it's not mandatory like other buds. I don't mind much the waifu voice since I rarely switch modes anyway. Moving my jaw make very little sound too compared to my previous earbuds.
The biggest issue for me is the waifu noises, it gives you a normal "ding" sound then the waifu sound comes after and it takes 4 seconds to switch modes. It is very recognizable about what modes you're on, that's a plus for me. But it is hard to recommend this to my friend and family just for the waifu sound alone.
Regardless of how inexpensive or expensive, these companies need to not demand intrusive access for their products to work. For this reason the B&O Beoplay EX were automatically returned
Goedendag, is this truly vakmanschap? 😆 I’m Dutch so I’m appreciating your use of vakman 😂 keep up the good work 💪 ps where can i buy a T-shirt with vakman
Waifu aesthetics have become insufferable with the wired IEM market in the last thing I want is it for it to become another bothersome annoying trope as part of the true wireless market. If it's literally starting to meddle with the voice feedback that's the worst case scenario.
I have gotten used to the voice that comes with the Sparks, but it was a bit jarring in the beginning to have a little girl's voice telling when the earbuds were connected.
@DHRME Should I buy them for Rs. 2849 in India or should I buy oppo enco air 2 pro for Rs.3500 ? or maybe any other recommendation under 5k in India ? for me Audio quality and Calls are important.
took forever for the space travel to get reviews! cool concept but no water/dust resistance and an average of 4hrs of battery life is a deal breaker for me. soundpeats is still king right now for TWS bang for budget.
@@DHRME thanks for the fast reply man, well that sucks cause i wanted to use it also for that. would u recommend me some good earbuds for 50 euro or something under that i can also use for some sport (mainly gim so not like ill sweat a ton)
Just got mine today. QC is definitely an issue with moondrop. Had problens with the Chu and the right buds on these also turn off by themselves. The experience is worse conpared to my Sonys but audio quality is great. All the compromises are worth it for this level of audio fidelity. The mic indoors is also great.
Eh I listen every day to 25 dollar earbuds that sound as good as the premium earbuds u guys review. I buy three kinds. The premium and the budget and the cheap. I'm not surprised at all.
@@DHRME So I thought I sent you a rundown of most of my buds. I think I've been censored. First time for meguys. Anyway, thanks to you my space travel begins tomorrow for $22 plus tax. But in the meantime, I received a pair today from Baseup Bowie M10 for 26 and change. Enjoying them and im pretty impressed!
I have them, they seem to have problems when in low latency mode, they unsynchronize randomly and stops recognizing single taps when in it for a really long time and sometimes when they synchronize again the volume lowers and I have to forget and factory reset the pair to get the volume back up because simply plugging it in and out of case doesn't seem to solve it. The lower clarity is pretty noticeable to be perfectly honest.
Hi. I have that moondrop space travel. Is it normal that when having a call while playing media, the volume is reduced by 60% and the media sounds muddy? I'm on Android. This is my first time having a TWS. I don't experience this with wired IEM.
I admit, I used to think the same way but as many well known Tech reviewers have stated, the tuning of the earbuds makes the biggest difference. I myself, own many pairs of high end earbuds, mid level and budget range (at 30 pairs combined). I can tell you that some of the one's I own sound as good or better using the AAC codec compared to the one's that have APTx and/or APTx adaptive. Best Regards.
