The latest generation of satellite observations is providing us with a planetary intelligence system and depth of knowledge about changes on Earth that could never have been imagined just a decade ago, such as variations in salinity, soil moisture, air quality and land use and temperature.
By using big data analysis techniques and coupling it with localised information from the internet of things, social media and citizen science, we can now visualize the ever growing imprint of climate change.
This talk explores how we can draw on this diversity of knowledge to recreate a more resilient world.

A geração de mais recente de observações por satélite possibilita a criação de um sistema de inteligência do planeta e um grau de profundidade de conhecimento sobre o planeta inimaginável há uma década, tal como variações em salinidade, humidade dos solos, qualidade do ar, utilização de solos e temperatura.
Analisando estes dados com técnicas e associando a informação de localização através da “internet das coisas”, social media e ciência de cidadania, podemos agora visualizar o impacto das alterações climáticas.
