I have worn this medal every day for over 40 years. It was a gift from my mother. I treasure it and will have it around my neck until I go with Jesus. God Love All of You. ❤

Why do you need an idol on your neck?
My mom recently went home to Jesus, she was 94 and wore the miraculous metal on her under shirt. When she passed, I took her metals and wear them pinned to my bra strap. I will never remove them. She also left me with praying the rosary daily. Thanks Mom!

Was not in Lourdes that was Bernadette de Soubirous. It was at the Rue du Bac in France Catherine was a Sister of Charity .I went to parochial school with the Sisters of Charity I wear the medal and give them away.

Our late Mom,,+ devout great woman and of deep Faith bless her Soul oh LORD had brought us up to wear the Our Lady of Miraculous medal and the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel everday since I was 9 or 10 years old she would always remind us of how it would protect us from many dangers in body mind heart and spirit. Iam now in my late 50's and I had witnessed many miracles in my life attesting how Our Blessed Mother Mary do protect us keeping us close to her son Our LORD JESUS CHRIST; wherever we are whatever life's circumstance be as we continue our earthly journey. The vibrations emanating from this sacramental take us to the realization that the Immaculate Heart of Mary is our guiding heart with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I wore my Miraculous Medal many yrs ago, it saved me twice, then I found out that my birthday falls on the Feast of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal 🙏🏼
Mary had parents so she inherited sin grew old and died Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death came through sin, and so death spread to all because all have sinned.
Under the heading “Immaculate Conception,” The Catholic Encyclopedia admits: “No direct or categorical and stringent proof of the dogma can be brought forward from Scripture.” So how was it that the Roman Catholic Church added this idea to its dogma? Research reveals that Mary worship stems from the dogma of the Trinity. How so? It all goes back to the fourth century C.E. In 325 C.E., Emperor Constantine, who was not even a baptized “Christian” at the time, organized the Nicene Council to settle the theological debate over the Trinity. More for political than for religious reasons, Constantine sided with the trinitarians.
Interestingly, the title Mother of God was given to Mary in Ephesus, Asia Minor, a region that was the center of pagan Mother-Goddess worship. Since Constantine had made apostate Christianity a universal, or catholic, religion acceptable to the pagan masses, Mary worship took the place of devotion to various pagan mother-goddesses. As popular veneration of Mary spread, grafted onto the Trinity dogma, it seemed logical to many to pronounce Mary completely sinless.

My kumare gave me a miracolous medal ,the next day is sunday so i told myself i'll get it blessed tomorrow after mass ,but during the night mama Mary told me in my drram that for me its the perpetuall help medal so since then am wearing medal of perpetual help..mama Mary will guide you.

After watching this, I see, like scales fallen from my eyes, that it was the wearing of Our Lady's MM that I made it to hospital when I suffered multiple heart attacks in a remote part of Sydney in the darkness of night. This is a new revelation to me. Thankyou dear Blessed Mother Mary. ❤

@catholicguides1 You may already know that this medal, designed by Our Lady herself, wasn't in fact called the Miraculous Medal when it was struck. It was called, "The Medal of The Immaculate Conception". It was named the MM 10 years later by virtue of all the miracles and graces reported by those who wear it with faith. 🌹
Thirty or so years ago, I went to have tests in hospital for breast cancer. When I came home my son said a priest and a nun had been at the door and gave him the miraculous Medal to give to me. I kept it in my purse for years, but now I’ve lost it.

I wanted to say the Apparition of the Miraculous Medal wss was in Rue du Bac Paris not Lourdes I visited Rue du Bac a number of times and the medal I wear was Blessed there a treasure.. i also visited Lourdes where Our Lady appeared to St Bernadette I 🙏❤

My parents bought mine many many years ago for me. I wore it faithfully. Just four months ago I lost it. I am sick over it. But I will be buying myself a new one very soon. I miss wearing it. I had it for so long it was a part of me that made me feel closer to the blessed mother.

There is no superstition, no magic, connected with the Miraculous Medal. No one should consider it strange that God works wonders through a Medal. Does He not use water to cleanse the soul of original sin in Baptism? Does he not use oil to confer His graces in Confirmation and the Sacrament of the Sick? Similarly, He uses a Medal, not indeed as a sacrament, but as an agent, an instrument, in bringing to pass certain marvelous results. (Read Acts 19:11-12) Handkerchiefs and aprons touched by Paul were taken to the sick and people were healed. So it is, “The weak things of this earth hath God chosen to confound the strong”. This medal is simply a Sacramental approved by the Church which can be called a prayer in metal form, and its purpose is exactly the same as the prayers which we say when we invoke the aid of the Mother of Jesus, our Lord.
Mary’s role does not compete with the centrality of Christ as the one mediator between God and men.(1 Tim 2:5-6) She serves to effect a direct, intimate, and most fruitful meeting between her Son and her spiritual children. As we pray for one another upon earth, she and our brothers and sisters in heaven intercede for us.

Aprons and handkerchiefs were not sold after anointing and the anointing did not remain in them. These images are not to be made and hang on the necks.

Where is idolatry in this case?? Idolatry means to worship an object. No one worships this medal. Watch the video again and listen. It is explained that the medal itself is not miraculous but for those who wear it, belief in the graces that flow from it is what matters. I always wear mine, always will.
