Merci beaucoup ... I lived in Antibes for some years and wish I had bought an apartment there. I now live in Noosa, Australia, where the nights in summer are 23°C, the days 28-30°C and the humidity high. I say this because the light is soft, like the French and Italian Riviera's, and were he alive today Monet would have painted boats on the Noosa River using daVinci's sfumato style. I guess that's why we have many French visitors, and residents. Huggs from Oz. 🤓🇦🇺

Hello from kefalonia island Greece..I love the french riviera..i would live there forever...my island is pretty much the same pace ,weather,scenery...but its an island...a bit depressing in winter and magnificent in summer...❤😊

As usual, I en-joyed the music and relaxing, wintery vibe of this video. A good New Year to ALL . May we each imbibe a touch of peacefulness in our own lives.... & radiate a little peace to others, as Aselya does.
Curious, so I looked up Galette de Rois. Aselya had a pic of patisserie label. It's to celebrate the Epiphany --- the arrival of the Three Wise Men in Bethlehem to honor newborn Jesus. It's traditionally made of 2 rounds of puff pastry with marzipan in between. (recipes are on the net). Lovely that France has a plethora of local bakeries with excellent pastries. Not so in US.!! Good bakeries are far and few between. Baked goods have been relegated to supermarkets & are of poor quality. Alternative: research the recipe & bake! Ah, to live in France!! Thanks for the taste of that.

Hello from America, what a beautiful sunset. I love the arch ways in your village.Can almost picture it in spring when everything is in bloom. That's it, I'm putting France on my travel list. ( near the top) lol.
France is the most beautiful country on 🌎 .Been traveling there since 2017 ,this summer I will stay in Arles to see all the Vangogh sights ,so touristy but I don't care .Lourdes is another one of my favorite places to go on my pilgrimages .I wish my French was as good as your English lol.Your child is adorable!

Michael is certainly a talented person and I can tell he's very picky to . My son's are that same way. The desk will look amazing I'm sure.❤
Lovely to see you and we have very low temperatures in England too. 5 degrees in day and 0 at night. It makes you just want to stay in the warm and with power prices not using too much gas or electricity. I love t-lights at this time of year and fake ones to add glow. I love the desk and so good to make yourself and I sweep every day living near trees and like you I just want a slow year. I would love to visit your area by train and also Henley on Thames and Marlow in England. I am tired or projects too and just clear outs for this year and I do the odd bit of paintwork myself after having it professionally painted inside and out. Your sunset was lovely and the brocante market and beach. The cake was interesting and I think we all want hearty warm food at this time of year and I make soups, stews, rice pudding and cook up apples and make curries. Your verandah is magical and all you need really - I have a small garden and enough for me. I think you notice the plants etc more and I have a robin nesting that keeps brushing me on the head with its wing to keep me away! Bulbs are coming up and buds and I love the spring plants especially viburnum bodnatense and winter jasmine and snowdrops and primroses and skimmia japonica.
