I love this craft. Been doing these for years. The base plates go on each section on the pages until they are filled up. Then you go on to the next plate. It's as therapeutic as diamond painting. Love it. 😍
Pretty picture. Slow but relaxing craft. Ah I see where they are coming from. Was surprised they are so expensive though. Back in the 80s and 90s in Europe they had something similar but instead of tubey things onto pegs, it was little bricks with pegs onto the frame with holes that fit snug, but it was harder plastic. Same principle but not very expensive, unlike these, my children liked them and we would do them together. You could buy colored design sheets in booklets and extra bricks, and they were multilingual. It was a great hobby to do when the snow and cold made going outside not feasible.
Thanks! I was always interested in their Pixel Hobby. Now I'm even more! I just found PIXLYS, which are little stickers that you put on and it makes a picture. Thanks again!
At the beginning, I was like there is no way lol. After watching, I think this is really cool and looks fun. Had to go out and look.....those prices....a little high for my modest budget.
Ive been doing these since 2013 when i did my first one. Shame I can’t add a photo as they are great fun and I’m actually in the middle of one now. You need a really good pair of angle tweezers and a rolling pin. Just work your way through the pages as in number order as you fill in the plates 1 at a time and then you can connect the plates to make the whole picture. I glue my plates onto picture mounting boards and seal them with PVA glue.
I do suggest that to keep it in place, use clear tape rolled in a circle to the back onto the paper pattern. I used this method and was able to use the same piece for the whole plate. It does not rip the pattern.
These are nice. Speaking for myself I read the description about the therapeutic benefits and saw the price and my budget said that’s going to put you in therapy.
Colors are added in stages. Once you finish with the first field you move the plate to the second field and it will fill up your plate with every field you finish. It is a bit weird for us Diamond painters because we see everything already on the canvas. Pixel hobby takes you on a journey.
I had never heard of this before, than again I've only been dp for less than 2 yrs. I was shocked by the pricing, but I can see why. I wonder if they will come out with different finishes like ABs, crystal, fairy dust, glow in the dark, etc. I always enjoy your content....thanks Mrs Coffee!
I watched another video on Bev Vee channel She used a diamond pen to put the squares and it went really quickly. And she put the squares in diamond trays
Umm, I had heard of it. Think diamond painting just became a. lot more fun :). I do cross-stitch conversions once in a while with diamond painting, and that also seems like more fun. This just seems way too slow.
I will have a more detailed tutorial Next Week! ❤

Hi Mrs Coffee 👋 Interesting! Thx for sharing 🙂🤗🧡
I could not resist and I've ordered pixel hobby advent calendar 😊
Love watching you try out new crafts! 💜💚🩷
While a bit spendy, I am super intrigued!!! Looking forward to seeing your progress. I certainly don't need another craft but...might have to try it.
I have a magnetic sheet underneath the paper and magnet strips around the edges of the base plate to keep it in place. Works a treat. 😊
It looks super cool. I will have to try one of the smaller ones out.
That looks so cool! And such a cute image. I have a similar diamond painting by the same artist from oraloa
Oh please!! I can’t fall for another craft 😊 I’m out of space 😅❤ I need to see this all the way through. TFS ❤

Whoa I love this
This reminds me of kite bright without the light but I would love to try this 😁
Pretty cool
Hi, I like to use 2 way glue in the corners to keep the baseplate from moving. I use to it before I found diamond painting lol.

It is different. I will check it out.
Well it’s too late for me. I placed my order 😅 I look forward to the tutorial 💎💜
I hope that you liking it means we will be seeing more of you on UA-cam. I've missed your WIP's and chatting while doing them.
I'm living it , You can always catch me on Twitch. I'm there now 5 days a week.

The pixels are easier to place with flat edged tweezers rather than pointed tweezers. 👍
I watched another video on Bev Vee channel She used a diamond pen to put the squares and it went really quickly. And she put the squares in diamond trays
😂😂😂😂 Miss coffee this one looks fun but I don't know if my wallet can handle another hubby
The symbols are giving me Playstation vibes 😂
They also sell them at herrshnerr’s on line.
It looks really cool, but it would be to persnickety for me.

A little pricy for me. But I also want to try the sticker one but they don’t carry all the colors
They sell sell plate holders
Looked at the prices and I don't think I can pay $300.00 + for something like that
Why they so expensive?
I don't make the prices, I just show them 🤷🏾♀️
Some of them are expensive the smaller ones are not that expensive.
I will stick to diamond art
Kinda expensive
Most hobbies can be yea
