I have done Pixel Hobby. Finished one and I started another one. You have a very interesting method for placing. I am using blunt end tweezers (not plastic) and it’s work well for me. Since you have a bigger one now, I will share that the clips don’t hold the plates very well. I put the plates together, put in the clips, and then I used clear packing tape on all the seems. Worked like a charm. Pixel on!!!!! LOL
I have been very curious about Pixel Art, thank you for sharing! I think this is something I would really like. I will go take a look and see if they have anything I like.
I love Pixel Hobby I end up alternating Diamond Painting and it. I also make up my own designs as you can order the plates and different coloured squares separately. Best wishes from Manchester, England. 😊
Loved your video, went to go check out what they had and they were sold out of all the ones I liked haha but definetly looks like something I would enjoy doing! I put my email in for when they restock the one I wanted :)
Glue dots probably won't leave residue but might be too strong to use. You could try it though and if it's too sticky, gett the glue dots a bit "dirty" or try putty or diamond painting wax
Bev, this pixel hobby is it hard to do l understand that you would start with a small one ,but how do that big one work is it 4 diffrent pictures or one big one ?that's where l get lost
@@BevBeeiv got one of these kits and a couple more on the way! from Herrschners! have not had time to try the one i have yet but i know i will like it!
Have you tried Pixel Hobby?!
Awesome! Pixel Hobby is still around? Neato! Did this before Diamond Painting😎
Thanks for sharing, haven't seen one unboxing before from this pixel hobby. It looks als a bit like ministeck to me.
I can see myself enjoying this new hobby. Keep us updated with videos.
I love your hack! Using the pen looks so much better than those hideous tweezers!!!
The tweezers are gross hahaha

Unfortunately a lot of their kits are sold out, but if you go to the actual Pixel Hobby site you might find some you like!

thats quite different. thanks for showing it.
I would like to try it. Looks fun.
I'm really enjoying it!
Getting ready to start one of these, and the pen idea looks great! I’ve never used a glue dot pen… will glue dot residue get on the pixels? Thanks!

@@BevBeethanks for responding, I’ll try one of those options

The big one is basically the image cut into 4 plates. Then at the end you fit them together!
great helpful tip with the pen
Thanks, glad I could help!

I’m so confused what’s the difference between this and diamond painting except for “tiles”
It's not diamond painting, it's called Pixel Hobby :)
I just got a kit at a craft fair. Do you put the pixels on the not smooth side?
Yes, on the not smooth side, there are little "spikes" that stick out that the pixels fit into.
They look cute, but like scary. Lol is this something I should try?
YES, so much fun
This is just a no for me. Seems too complicated and more like a cross stitch conversion DP kit. It's too much. lol 😆 😊
Haha true!!!! It's not for everyone!
Ahhh no thanks.
Uhm, I think I'll stick to diamond painting. Lol. Thanks for showing it though. 🤗🫶
