Great job bro.. Really beneficial tutorial.. I use the puppet pin tool for character animation. Duik 16 Bassel plugin is also useful for motioning a character. I will try to use this plugin.Thanks a lot

How to do front walk of character?

here 's another tip will save alot of time
with my rigging i donot name layers . this is something i don't like and waste alot of times
when times come to parent layers process , i only make a square selection on Both (layer + structure)
so it selects only the layer i want with its specified structure that i want to parent to.
when i look at time line i found (2 highlighted layers = character layer+ structure layer) then i grap parent icon to parent them .
this process soooo quickly and no need at all to rename layers which i hate .

you can change the number of bones in (arm/leg) by click on the small circle beside (arm/leg) icons before clicking on (Hominoid) icon

Nice video! How about if I want to do my custom animations besides the automatic walk cycle.
How can I have the character walk in and out of the scene with this rig? I used the position option but it went all crazy
you need to install the script Duik Bassel to rig caracters perfectly
2 options
either pre comp the charecter and move the comp itself.
or parent the whole rig to another Null and move that null for left and right motion.
option 1 is easier and somewhat better

When I move all then character goes chaos :( like balloon doll
you sholud connecting walk cycle, foot, hand, neck to body (parent)

Yup
You should divide all parts of body in separate layers.
I have an issue.. I can't import the rig in a composition ?
Try opening your file by hitting ctrl+I in the project window. Make sure you select import as: composition+retain layer sizes
But this walk is strange ... This is not natural... i feel it ...sorry
