@aboutthemetal8783 I saw this tour as well at the OK Hotel on Alaskan Way in Seattle. I was 15 and just started going to see as many live shows as I could. Godflesh opened up for them and did an amazing job too. I had Harmony Corruption in my head so it was excellent to hear it executed live. I remember buying a VHS copy of this concert and watching it all the time. What an incredible performance!
Black Sabbath and Napalm Death, two of the most influential bands in metal history, both from Birmingham. This sound mix is as good as it gets for those of us who like it HEAVY.
In terms of sound, this is the ultimate "wall of sound". When Mick starts blasting, it's like a runaway train. And discogs didn't mention an engineer, but it would be of note as to who mixed this. It's a nod to Scott Burns work with the band, but who actually mixed it? Hey Earache, who mixed this banger? Always be my favorite live album. :)
I saw them on this Harmony tour in 91 at the Agora in Cleveland with Sepultura, Sacred Reich and Sick of it All. The "New Titans on the Blok" Tour. I laughed my ass off because it was so crazy awesome and the first time I had heard such gutteral vocals live. The contrast between Barney's cookie monster vocals and then his proper English spoken in between songs cracked me up. I'm glad I was into a variety of the weirdest most extreme music I could find back then and got to go to these small venues on weekends for cheap to see so many bands that are legend now.

Yep. I hate when modern drummers just sit still behind the drumkit and barely move the fingers during blast beats. They think they're so skilled because of that, they even count the number of beats per minute (or per second) - while in fact they ruin the whole essence of blast beating. Mick played it mad, used his whole body and it worked perfectly! He was the epitome of prime blast beater.

Dude. The more I watch this the more I realize that I’m am fucking pissed off Micky ever wasn’t the drummer for ND. His style was integral in the sound and feel. Utopia had all these great riffs but it just doesn’t punch or grind like previous records. Herrera’s style has never really fit right and honestly they play through the songs so fast now that you can’t really appreciate the music. It’s just fast forward like let’s get this over with. Fast is fine if you can do it right. Micky was correct in that scum doc. Doing it right matters.
I've also noticed that nowadays ND gigs are far more routine-like, one is identical to another, a bit careless at the same time. While Live Corruption was true feast and ritual, where everything was on top level.
Danny did some great things, especially when Napalm was in their experimental phase (FLD, Diatribes). I think Diatribes is criminally underrated. Mick will always be the standard, but I saw who knows how many gigs back in the day and Danny rarely didn't deliver the goods. The best shows I ever saw were Napalm Death and it was always Danny. He's also a good dude. And everybody has their off days. They do rush through songs, but I'm sure they're burnt on them in ways non musicians couldn't appreciate. I just wish they would go doom tempo and save the grind for when it's most applicable. Napalm does excellent doom, but they just tease us with it. :)
This last year they have been playing the songs with more groove. Watch the Houston TX show in 2021. Danny really holding the fort down better. Lots of great room for the riffs again.

Best live video of this era of ND, for sure. This recording had a TREMENDOUS impact on my drumming style. Anyone who's seen this and seen me play can attest.
I know Danny has been in napalm since the early 90s and he's technically a better drummer than Mick Harris ,however Mick was the right drummer for napalm , his flow ,groove ,lack of technical knowledge all made Mick a fkn brilliant drummer , Danny writes technically and there's nothing wrong with that at all , but when a drummer is self taught and capable I find they arent limited by the idea that a certain drum fill or beat is technically wrong for the timing of the song , not knowing all the ins and out makes for better metal drummers , Dave Lombardo for example .
Simplesmente zica esse show. Grandes riffs fudidos, combinando-os com partes cadenciadas e outras com velocidade. E é lógico que o riff de If The Truth Be Known foi inspirado no de Jewel Throne do Celtic Frost.
