I’ve got a 2013 SS/RS 6.2 six speed , luv it !!! I got 5,500 miles on it, with a bunch of goodies on her , she’s one fast machine and only driven on nice days really hard !!! Lol

Wish they added another 50hp for 2024. Still the best pony car in my opinion, tied with the Challenger. All hail the good ol' pushrod V8 with a cross-plane crankshaft.

@@michaelmancini5773 No I haven't tbh. I've driven several S550's and I'm sure the 2023 Mustang is lots of fun don't get me wrong. But the pushrod V8's torque delivery and grunty exhilarating sound when floored hard and those idle chops for me tops the DOHC in Coyotes. Just a humble opinion though.
@@ShariaLawAllDay as I said I’m a Chevy guy, had a 70 Vette with a 350/350, and a 73 350ci, loved them, but I was taken back by the torque and exhaust note of the Mustang, and frankly, smoother shifting

They should have 10 speed manual transmission. The driver keep pressing the clutch pedal and shifting gears.
Why are they only getting 455 hp out of a 6.2 liter and ford get 450-460 out of a 5.0
Maybe Ford turns up the wick a bit. You could breath on that motor quite easily & get 125-150 up more. Either 1 for that matter.
The torque is lower on the GT motor also. And Ford doesn’t have a package that will keep up with the 1LE on a race track.

@@richardmorris7063 what mod can you do to a naturally aspirated 5.0 Coyote to get 100+horsepower GPI has a head and camshaft using CNC ported and milled LT1 heads with a High Ram intake running E85 with bolt-ons and a custom tune putting 580 - 590 horsepower to the wheels naturally aspirated with 530 foot pound of torque at the wheels you'd be lucky to gain 30 foot pounds of torque on any 5.0 Coyote naturally aspirated setup

I dont think the oneS complaining about the SS 455hp understand what a sports car is. It not just a car meant to go fast, its also one you buy to mod to your liking. Thats why it has 455hp so YOU can make it fast without being limited which also hints its price point. Otherwise theres the ZL1 if you want higher HP
