I would just like to add, for any foreign students coming over here. DONT worry or be embarrassed about not understanding the different accents. We don't expect to understand when we first go to a different part of the UK. Just be relaxed about it. You will understand faster. If you are not wasting brain power being embarrassed.

It's a great and informative video, i followed it to the end and you sounded a lot more like me because your family's priority on investing in quality education sounded a lot like what i believe in. Oh my god cane we like be friends or something 😭😭 I am already in my final year of uni this year and I’m flying back to London tomorrow for my 6-month placement and I’m losing sleep over coming back again 😭. I have so much anxiety. I also haven’t seen my family in more than a year due to COVID because they’re stuck in the Philippines but my mom migrated to Hong Kong so i flew back here and have been alone for the past 6 months. The bit about emotional sacrifice you mentioned is so on point, i only applied to the UK in the same reason you did, for better opportunities because it’s so competitive in Asia and because Hong Kong does not offer the course i need for my career..hope you’ve been keeping well! I have a friend who studied at Coventry too!

Your English is very good and I’ve watched your other video about how you learned English. How did you find studying in the UK as a non native speaker? Do you think you were prepared enough or did you experience any struggles with English such as understanding the different accents/writing essays or emails etc? Thanks

It's actually fairly OK! The accent, which is what most people are concerned about, is not as intimidating or difficult to understand as I thought it would be, though it took time to get used to it. The native speakers I met at work or uni are surprisingly very understanding when I struggle to convey certain word/phrase and they even helped me search for the right word as well hahaha (so I definitely learn new things almost daily). Hope this helps :)

@@hisisters2739 If i were you i'd probably go straight to uni rather than looking for an 'english' class (assuming this would be like a Foundation program). If you're gonna graduate with an A Level i don't think it'll be too much of a struggle (i went to non-english speaking school and didnt have A-levels but took quite some English tuitions to compensate those 'shortcomings'!). And you still have 2 years so I'd recommend really honing your English skills during those time :) good luck

But compared to the US the tuition is way less expensive right?
Yeah it is. Especially if you’re trying to go out of state and/or to a private college, then the uk will be cheaper by a lot.
UK unis are typically about 11,000 USD a year, but it only takes 3 years to get your first degree, which would equal out to about 35,000 for your first degree (depending on what courses you take i assume) . Compared to if you would want to go out of state in the US it would be typically 30,000 a year for 4 years. So yeah, def more affordable
UK mostly like 11+ USD, in US like 30-40 USD+ especially in Harvard university

Studying in the uk is not that good. However I have fun with my friends. Whilst I was in education in the uk my own family mathematics have been proven greater than any of the education taught at the educational institution in the uk. Therefore I have contradicted studying in the uk and have found that I have taken over with my own formulas and codex. Meaning that the uk could not educate myself as there is a very big difference in reality and my own mathematical codex’s and formulas are greater source of the universe derived from my own family history and lineage. None of my formula or codexes are part of the education taught in the uk and therefore the uk could not teach me but again I can teach them as they are wrong. I will be making my own education website institution “ Chittaranjan “ as the future of education cannot be taught in the uk and the uk failed to discover myself, lineage, history and codex’s. 🤴🏽🕉🔺➕
