As someone who never warmed to the full-size Praetorian less because of size and more because 1) I preferred a drop point blade and virtually everything out there was a tanto, 2) I found my fingers sliding out of the fuller on the blade, and 3) often, I'd get to look at early models that were screwing into the Ti, I really thought the Praetorian was a let-down; a design that I just gave up on as I moved toward the Marauder H and the 187DP instead. All that changed this past week when for the first time, after holding seven or eight full-sized Praetorians, I got to handle a Praetorian Genesis. I was under the mistaken assumption it would be in the same size class as the Micro Praetorian, which I was impressed by regarding design and manufacture, but just thought was too small for me personally (if someone has smaller hands out there, I imagine it would be a good hard-use EDC knife for them, in fairness). The Praetorian Genesis isn't in the same universe as the Micro Praetorian, size-wise, lucky for me; it's like an 80% size Praetorian, and I'm fine with that for EDC (since the full-sized Praetorian's size in no way bothered me). The fullers are leaps and bounds ahead of the rounded fullers on the Praetorian, it has a better design on the lockbar/it won't catch on the relief cut, and most of all, Medford's manufacturing techniques had obviously advanced, which I was expecting given the more recent dates of manufacture for my Marauder and my 187DP, but which I just hadn't seen and I suppose needed to see. In short, not only did I get one, but I would actually go so far as to say that if the full-size Praetorian took some cues from the Genesis regarding more drop points and better fullers, it would honest-to-goodness be a better knife, at least in my opinion. As a footnote, I should say I was also impressed with the Praetorian Swift I handled, but I should also point out that if you have a 187DP as I do, you basically have a budget Praetorian Swift, so the choice of going for the Genesis seemed obvious for me.
I love my medford, but both my s90v models had extream blade stick for the longest time, like 2 hands struggling. 187 dp and 187 flipper. They finaly broke in with very minimal blade stick, you had any trouble with s90v models?

Agree 100% I have a DLT S90V Praetorian T and just bought a Genesis version, both in this fantastic drop point!
