I hate when the singer doesn’t sing the melody the first time. Yes, complexity can be nice to hear but simplicity is extremely beautiful; especially in the beginning of the song. I couldn’t get through it because it was too many gospel runs/licks. If she was actually improvising the melody then that’s one thing. But just throwing licks around like they are free was tiresome and boring. 75% of those licks are overdone by too many singers. Sorry, it’s a no from me.
