I just want to pick my piano sound, then pick my pads, and layer them together. Can I do that and save it to the favorites?
does anyone knows how to layer a sound and save it to one of the (initprog) program mode?
i have a ypg 235 and felt in love with it and it has an option to have a really high sensitivity that it doesn't matter how hard u press on keys they sound loud (which is what im used to). is the korg kross 2 able to do that?

How can you use the layered sound into a split?
go to the combi then press menu, go to zone/delay then key zone, I know I might be a little late but.. XD

If I want go to A Bank to D bank or D to C how many time press Bank button?
For bank A to D... u have to press bank select button for 4 times....

How many sounds can be combined in Kross 2?
I used to be able to play a chord and save (up to 4 buttons) on my Korg Karma, thus being able to write / record a song, based upon those 4 chords, (and whatever others I could mix in live). I was told (Musicians Friend chat) that the Kross 2 could do that. I search and search for the way to do this but to no avail. I guess I will have to offer $100 at the Guitar center in Tempe, AZ unless anyone near Tempe wants the money. I hate to have to return it if in fact it actually does what I need it to.

Whenever I save a favorite and then power the unit off and back on, the favorites I saved are gone? I've updated the firmware too. Any ideas?
Are you saving it to internal memory before you turn off your machine? See 3:50 in this video.

Can you adjust both sounds on a split... volume and/or octave for instance? It seems I'm able to adjust those parameters for one sound but not the other
Yes you can. You have to use up/down/right/left round control to change the layered sound to adjust them

Save it in the Favorites and select those two sounds from the 16 pads on the right hand side. This video shows how. The other synths in this price range do not allow you to store 8 banks of 16 combinations or patches = 128 user locations which are easily accessible, which is the main advantage of this synth over the others. The other synths do not feel you need to jump around fast with different sounds.

This instructor goes entirely to fast and doesn't allow any time for absorbing the information. Much too fast, re do it, taking it at a much slower pace, for us slow learners. Please!!
