- I don't know what Namco was thinking giving an already powerful character so many significant buffs! Dragunov is definitely top 3 in the game and JDCR demonstrated it in this set against me! It's definitely beatable though. King is gawdlike too!

@@Leadblast My dude, it only means that he hasn't played ranked much on the new patch. This is a player match and those features don't update unless you play ranked.

Specially considering the absurd amount of cheaters in Ranked making that mode completely worthless atm.

My husband pointed this out, majin at home has king in training attire, but at competition, his king attire has the cape and fighting gear. Just like in pro wresting. It's kind of amazing how he thinks about his presentation.
That's because in tournaments you can't Use custom clothing, KING has a default skin with the cape which is why Majin is never in custom clothes at tournaments. All tournaments have DEV kits which allow players to play on the world stage but the DEV KITS don't have saved account information of trophies or unlocked gear
..it has nothing to do with presentation it's all due to the fact that nobody is on their personal console when at tournaments they are all playing on DEV KITS

I need to get my Dragunov to this level of proficiency. The thing I like about JDCR’s Dragunov is that he doesn’t seem too obsessed with combos. He appears to be more comfortable with bum rushing with pokes and punishing the opponents mistakes. Me on the other hand, I tend to be more aggressive with rushing down my opponent and finding an opening for grabs and CH grabs.
“I’m good to beat him 1 out of every 6 games.”
So just lose 15 games and save the three wins for worlds he’ll never see it coming!
Or do wins not stack 🤔

I never liked JDCR's Dragunov when he was winning every tournament. But after seeing him struggle with AK, him dominating with Dragunov again is quite refreshing.
But he's not. He still losing with dragunov. He even lost to nobi mirror match on rev major and got destroyed.

my strategy for dragunov is instead of mixing mids and lows to catch combos I mix over heads in there too. kings got some good over head moves that can counter that rolling

I don't think JDCR can do this consistently with Armor King or Heihachi. Dragunov has no weaknesses.
Actually at electric cancel, jdcr switched to heihachi after rest beat his dragunov in first match. At wnf granfinals, jdcr used Heihachi against Speedkicks and beat speedkicks 6-2. Dragunov has weaknesses like his homing move being high, no traditional hopkick etc. Heihachi is actually a hard match up for king.

I think lil majin stated that Dragunov has some of the biggest side step in the game and I do notice it thus adding to Jdcr's advantage to the slightly slower and bigger King. Jdcr is doing a Muhammad Ali/Mayweather type thing where they defend/evade and capitalize on the opponent's mistakes.
