That’s quite an impressive Montblanc collection. My only Montblanc, the Meisterstuck No. 12 vintage is very similar to your No. 22. My ink window is amber, yours is blue. The cap band is different as well. As a matter of fact, the dealer at the Dallas pen show told me it was a No. 22. My research proved otherwise. I do love my pen. Flushing and reinking now. Thanks for sharing your enjoyable collection! The pens look gorgeous arranged on your leather notebook cover.
Hi, Marcy. The vintage Montblancs are my favorites of the brand to write with. I love the fine nibs on them. The 220/Lamy knockoff are excellent and pretty inexpensive. I got them on eBay.

I remember thinking it would be easy to keep track of, but for some reason I just don't fancy the color even though it's a great writer (F nib).

I would have never picked this one if it wasn’t for that gorgeous blue trim. That’s what did it for me.
same happened to me- once I got my vintage 146 I realized it was perfect. 149 still interests me but I am no longer actively looking for it.
