In my view what we need for the real world consumers is :-
    No POE
    8 ports TP 2.5GBE
    2 ports 10GBE TP
    1 port 10GBE SFP+
Simple managment - Port Trucking , VLAN and
simple HTTP/HTTPS interface for under USD$200
No console port, no serial port, no USB, no cloud/internet/extra software
    Opensource based/open firmware
This would be ideal for LAN parties, small offices, small home setups with Retail NAS/DIY build

Yeah I agree, but normaly they want to sell you a POE switch for the access points + 10GB switch if you want 10G LAN + some kind of controller , basically they want 1000USD for a proper 10G network. That is why I went with Mikrotik and built all of this for 360 USD + one access point.

@@pbrigham Considering how popular POE is lately . Ive yet to see a single POE switch with 8 ports 10/100 POE + 1 port gig under AUD$100

What is the difference between QSW M12 series and M21 ?
The white switches and these black ones ?

Is to expensive, sorry, 500 GBP for a 10G switch that even don't have all managed features of a managed switch ? Too expensive. Much better and cheaper the professional 10G solutions from Mikrotik.

UK 500 is like AUD$1000, too bloody expensive
Mikrotik or TP Link will be cheaper

Jesus Christ other switches have combo ports too. And other switches offer real warranties. You all seem to always kiss up to Qnap. What are they paying you all.
