We decorate the tree on the 24th of December. This is a tradition in my family, so yeah, we won't do it just because everybody does it earlier. So thank you for saying not to hurry and decorate the tree whenever we want. It was so good to finally hear it in a YT video. :)
I have two trees, one real one for my front room and one fake one in the family room. Love the real tree smell so much!

You could get a big white tree skirt and put it under the red one if you really want the bigger look, that way you can still think of little Rookie 🥰🥺
Your decor is absolutely beautiful! I love that you shared stories from your childhood and also for your pup that passed away last year!
So sorry for the loss of your dog, it is so hard to lose them! I suggest if you want a larger tree skirt while still keeping the sentimental one, that maybe you layer, put a big one down first, then the sentimental smaller one over the top.

Lol!! I noticed the reindeers going after Santa and I thought, never seen it like that lol I’ve never tried doing my ribbon on my tree the way you did it, I normally make it twirl coming down. Good idea!
Maybe add a larger/contrasting tree skirt under the red one that your angel pup loved so much?

It means so much more to me to have that nostalgia bringing back things from years past and the kids getting all excited and remembering them I love that my mom saved so much stuff. Whenever I tried to follow trends I didn’t feel like me and I wasn’t happy - this year the house truly feels cozy and like “me” thank you so much ❤️

Well I love it all. You put so much care & attention into your decor. I discovered that deco mesh ribbon a few years ago. I just cut it in about 1 inch pieces & stuff it in the tree. Works great.

You made me cry. I remember you going through that and him laying on the tree skirt. I lost my oldest dog on August 25th. He would have been 16 on January 1st. It still breaks my heart thinking of him.

Every thing looks so beautiful , when you were talking about your dog it reminded me about my cat (she passed 3 years ago ) one Christmas I got one of my fluffy blankets to put under my tree she slept on the blanket it was the cutest thing I can't get rid of it

Artificial tree fan, takes 5 min to put it up, no mess, no fuss. We have a 9.5 prelit one and we love it. We spray it with the tree spray and it’s perfection.
