I wonder if RMAF will acquire an F-16 latest Block. If yes, that would be so cool! The F-16 costs roughly $35 million dollars per unit. The F-18 costs more than double at $67 million dollars. There's Pro's and Con's on the operating and maintenance costs but who knows right? Suddenly the government feel a bit generous :)

F-16 is cheap, yes, but Malaysia can only use it as a Light Fighter, which there are cheaper alternatives in this category, that's the FA-50.
