I’m not anti-spectacles, indeed I have a pair I use all the time, but there are windows in my house smaller than those glasses.

Paul Heumiller's advice is spot on. Obviously, he should know if anyone does. That advice can also easily carry over to anything commissioned that requires an artist to do. You'll almost always get the best result when giving them creative breathing room.

In reality, I see a lot of players who pay dearly for a hand made who decide to sell after the novelty wears off. They generally take a Reverb bath. Seen a few McPherson, Goodall, Olsen and some small maker boutiques go that way recently, all fine top dollar builds go for fractions just to move them. The Goodall was actually sitting at a GC and no one there had a clue what it was. It was sitting next to a D'Addario dread (yup, John D'Addario put out an el-cheapo guitar years ago and a Goodall sitting right next to it like ie was in the junk section). UGH!

I saw the title of the video, and I thought, "I just saw the guys from Dream Guitars talking about that at the Fretboard Journal." I didn't expect that this would be recorded at the summit.

Everyone seems to agree that Maegan Wells’ aesthetic choices are phenomenal. Everyone uses her guitars as thumbnails now

Hi, can you please do a pro tips on how to properly shield an electric guitar? Specially om a strat. Theres still a myth and most people are doing it wrong, they’re not connected to each other, the tapes aren’t conductive, needs to shield the input jack and solder a jumper from there to the pickup cavity, etc.
i believe this is one of the most useful tips we should know, and not many out there showing the proper way. Thank you

...I am a technical person and I look at things with this in mind. I can say for sure that guitar making is not rocket science, even if anyone wants to believe that.
