That thing looks insanely intense lol. Those lateral G forces would probably exceed 3Gs so a ride time of two minutes is almost perfectly fine but it didnt even tilt all the way up! That thing can go to around 135°.
@@TheRedCoasterChannel I totally agree, but thats Extasy, which is a completely different Model by the same manufacturer! Extasy goes up to almost 180°, while Speed Flips can go up to around 130 to 140.
Bakken's Extreme had its sensors moved, normally the speed flip has 3 positions - 0°, 90° and the °135. Since this one was a prototype, it could also flip very close to 180° though. When the owner changed, they also changed the sensor placement which meant its three positions were 0°, 45°, and 95(ish)°, because the new guy claimed it looked to crazy and scared people away when it went all the way up. But that's just one out of a trillion problems that machine had... whew....
if i was operating that ride i wouldnt just have it start at full speed like that i would have it start out slow then have maybe a 10 second delay to make sure all the safety bars are closed then warn them that its going to go faster then i would speed it up
The ride ops were only allowed to run automatic cycles, they were risking their job whenever they did manual cycles Furthermore, the machine was a complete wreck the last couple of years, it had A TON of issues, and couldn't run properly any longer. Back when it was new it was an absolute BEAST! 2019 was its last year of service, and has now been replaced with a KMG Freak Out.

No. This one has been at Bakken from the early 2000's up until last year.
No this ride goes clockwise with the arm and crosses so its not so intense on the ground so you dont do loops prefer toxic moonen NL
