Interesting title. Originally MK Ultra (Project MK Ultra) was the name of a top secret set of experiments at the height of the cold war that tied into Operation Paperclip (The procurement of Nazi scientists by the CIA) where they tried to develop a mind control serum. What they came up with was Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). They ran their busta-ass tests on the American populace and some of the Canadian populace. (The shit you learn from weird people in a comments section of UA-cam)

They orginally wanted to turn the heads of captured soviet agents with this programm and make them double agents to sent them back to gather information.
