Everyone on this marketing campaign desrves a raise because I am freaking pumped to see this movie knowing almost nothing about the actual story, and all the thrusday night showings in my area are almost completely sold out. They really summoned the horror freaks with this one.

If this movie actually is as good as The Silence of the Lambs was but with actual horror and terror rather than tension, I could die happy in that same theater.
The marketing in this movie is incredible. It reminds me of the late 90s to the late 2000s when several horror movies also had interesting marketing campaigns for them that became just as famous as the movies themselves. I'm so looking forward to this!

I already appreciate the marketing and trailers this film and the people working on it have gone through to put together. It’s very well made and makes the audience interested and want to go see it. It will help DRASTICALLY when it comes to ticket sales. I’m not sure why other smaller indie horror films don’t do the same, since all it takes is making some short cryptic trailers and shorts.
If you play the video at x0,25 speed, you'll see Nicolas' face as Longlegs at 1:05 , at least for a split second. Not only his eyes are some serious uncanny valley stuff, but also his teeth look sharpened, like shark teeth or something similar... this movie's gonna be insane!

Whether this movie is bad or good, there is no denying it will go down as the film that had the greatest marketing of all time. Whoever thought of blocking Cage’s face and recording Monroe’s heartbeat just to get people to see this movie got a major pay raise.
I think it's going to look terrifying in a revolting way vs scary, like how people look after years on meth. The effect it has on their face and skin, and then there's some tragic backtory. Maybe he's a cutter.
This movie's add campaign has single-handedly made NEON one of my favorite studios ever (that and the fact that they made parasite). They are only rivaled by A24 in my opinion.
