I am almost giving up on this particular style before I stumbled on your UA-cam channel. Thanks Soo Much for making this tutorial sooooo simple. God Bless You
Thanks for sharing... Armhole of 20inches should I fold the inner to be exactly 14inches ,when I minus 3.5inches from it....I would be left with 10inches for armhole...
You are welcome 😊😊.. No it's not a standard, it just depends on how deep you want your cowl neckline to fall. For instance if you add 5 inches to yours, your Neckline will fall deeper than the 3 inches i added to mine. I hope you find this useful 😊
After making mine, my upper front bodice become longer than the back. Eg. My back half lenght is 16 while the front is 19.5 bcos of the 3.5 we added . Pls y is yours not longer or is there something you did not tell us? Pls help
Hello That 3.5 extra in front is for the shoulder. That 3.5 is the part that will sit on your shoulder when you join the front and back together Please watch the video again for better understanding 🙏
Please ma, wat is d length of d dress, dis is cos I want to know how many inches u added at d lower part for d ruched effect to come out and still give u d actual length. I just hope u get my question?
Hello Yes I understand your question The upper part is 16 inches while the lower part is 36 inches So the full length is 52 inches So you can pull the dress to your desired length
I guess she meany the actual length of the lower part. I would love to know aswell. For example, if the actual waist to length is 25, how many inches extra can one add for the runched. This is really a beautiful dress
Thank you😊 Yes sure Take the round armhole measurement you have on your dress and use it to cut out your sleeve ( don’t forget to add seam allowance to the sleeve)
@@SewwithMediva Tnk u so much ma’am but ma’am concerning d ruched effect is it that you only sew one side of d allowance to pass the rope or u pass the rope on both seam I don’t know if u would understand me
Thanks so much ma I tried ur method but I am being confused is d sewing aspect of the shoulder I don't know if it will be folded together with the extra 10 inches to the back while joining the shoulder or separated

You are welcome 😊😊.. Yes you can. It will still come out perfect 👍👍👍
Please, how did you get the 3.5" for the shoulder
That’s the part that will sit on your shoulder. You can use 3.5 or 4 inches
Well detailed. Thanks so much, your explanation is topnotch dear🎉❤
Glad it was helpful! 🥰❤️
Thanks for sharing Ma. The 3 inches you added to the shoulder measurement divided by 2 is it a standard? If not how can it be adjusted?
You are welcome 😊😊.. No it's not a standard, it just depends on how deep you want your cowl neckline to fall. For instance if you add 5 inches to yours, your Neckline will fall deeper than the 3 inches i added to mine. I hope you find this useful 😊
@@SewwithMediva Alright Ma. Well understood. Thank you 🤗

Please the side you added the rope to, the side was just sew down once right, and the rope was inserted into it

You are great 👍🏼
