I would just like to say that the format and pace of your videos are extremely well put together. You get right to the point, a joke here and there, you explain everything.. Very palatable, and a lot of people on youtube can't quite get to this level.
I love these upgrade videos. Im still pretty new to magic. I played it in the nineties and early oughts but I just restarted to teach my son. I actually have most of the cards in this deck. I'm going to make it
You learn a lot about magic watching these which I think is a piece a lot of content is missing. I always send my friends who are new here for videos like this, I hope the channel grows as Arena does. Magic has a bright future with channels like this.
I'm not so sure about him - of course he's superior against mana decks, but in MTGA meta full of monoreds, monowhites and black controls I prefer maining Martyr of Dusk playset and 1-2 Vanguards, the rest is in sb. Of course it's about vamp deck.
Just played a game with the deck. Wow. Vine Mare On Serra's Wings closed the game. Adanto Vanguard with Squire's Devotion helped chump-block Gigantosaurus, Carnage Tyrant, and Nullhide Ferox. Epic deck, LVD. Only thing I changed was subbed an extra Tyrant for a Prodigious Growth since there's so many auras in the deck already. It's amazing how the opponent had lethal for the last three turns of the game if not for the lifelink I had available from the Mare and Vanguard.
Nice vid, I think Ixalan's Binding should be considered to prevent opponent from playing other copies of their planeswalker, rekindling phoenix, Enigma Drake, Aurelia, etc.
AoM is one of the most fun decks to play in Arena but its really tough to play and gets dominated by RNG a lot. Gonna try it with this setup next time I play.
If this is still relevant, I'm running the pioneers. They have their merits. Quicker drop, more bodies, same hp sum as vine mare, and I suppose more unassuming. You'll definitely feel the token being weaker though, so you'll want that oakenform to hit first, and dear god, wide removal hurts :(
Nice. I think if you wanted to take this to its highest winrate form you might go for more of an enchantment theme with fewer auras. Oakenform and Squires devotion aren't on the same power level as On Serra's Wings. Then you can play history too!
Any idea why i cant see other basic land arts? I typed forest, plains, ect. Hit reset, and chose collected and not collected and there's only ever one basic land option
Auras are so weak currently. I love the archetype, but it's sad that On Serra's Wings is one of the best auras available, especially when you compare it to some of the stronger creatures. Auras, so susceptible to 2 for 1 (especially considering how few good, cheap hexproof targets there are) should be somewhat stronger. It's kind of strange that so many old auras are so much better than newer ones even though creatures steadily gained in power, historically speaking. Gimme some Ancestral Mask or Armadillo Cloak
They need to find a balance between the umbra mechanic and the 'standard' aura. I wish they were more powerful, and I wish that hexproof wasn't *basically* a necessity to use them. I just don't want hyena umbra.
@@RagingGoblin In Theros, they had the bestow mechanic. I think that that is the way to go with enchantments, but slightly differently. Make their rate slightly less than the rate of a creature, and make it so that when the enchanted permanent (creature?) leaves the battlefield, the enchantment turns into a creature. Makes them at least somewhat re-usable, doesn't protect the creature, but ensures value if that creature dies.
auras are ok, the thing is you can't go all in on auras because that just leads you to getting 2 or 3 for 1'd if the opponent has removal. For example the player was the first to mythic played auras in his white weenie.
I've been playing this deck today and it's pretty hit or miss, sometimes you pull way too many enchantment cards and not enough creature cards. The creatures are still pretty easy to counter early with blue/black/red decks.
@@LegenVD they have had plenty of time to implement custom land art. now that they have removed it, im beginning to think they don't want the game to have customizable aspects. which is lame.
As I said and didn't doubt a moment you'd do, it's a very easy upgrade. I wouldn't go without 2 Tyrants though. But that's just me. I'm surprised that anyone needs help upgrading this. Also, Adanto's V is yet another retarded Ixalan card.
It's incredible to see how you manage to win with this deck's original list. This is the worst starter deck ever. 6 lands at starting hand and you draw 5 lands in 6 turns, nearly every game.

Really enjoy that you try to stay true to the decks plan when you make these appreciate it!
24:30 Lolz Sneakacabra XD
Did anyone else bust out laughing at 24:30 when ravenous chupacabra poked its head out when Legend was talking about black spot removal?😂😂
That monored beating was satisfying to watch.

@@MineRoyale. I think you're just young

Nicely done! I like that you clearly explain the reasons behind the upgrades and cuts and also presents alternatives when applicable.

It's very usefull, thank you

Why hexproof creatures does not prevent "Cleansing Nova"?
@@caprix91 Cause hexproof prevent from effect that says "target whatever" and cleansing nova says "destroy all", words are very important in magic ;)
@@holybretzel687 True that! The problem Is too much control decks in "Single Constructed", they are cancer :(

Definitely a consideration!
My favourite deck!
Love this upgrading decks vídeos! Thanks a Lot :)
Man, the forest that you replaced is one of my favorite forest arts.
Just awsome man. U are great!
I personally like talons of wildwood for trample effect, especially if there are token decks around and the enchantment itself is resilient
Good jobb as always!

I know it isn't the most popular deck out there, but I'd really like to see your upgrades for the Ral, Caller of Storms planeswalker deck.
Vine mare is a GREAT card , if your a new player and play green I recommend crafting a full playset
Upgrades not too bad in rares on this one. I made a life link equipment deck that works okay in low tier bronze. Remove spells hurt it tough
Колода огонь!
What about jungleborn pioneer instead of some copies of vinemare for budget builds? Makes a hexproof token, which is a good recipient for auras
It could work, it's just that a 1/1 needs a lot of auras before it's relevant.

What packs you get the cards that dont come in the deck in?
PLZ do more of this upgrade videos
I love your videos ^^
maybe the UW will be the next upgraded... or someone with equipments (sword and shield are soo underestimated).
please upgrade your starterdeck guides to the Ravnica release
Any idea why i cant see other basic land arts? I typed forest, plains, ect. Hit reset, and chose collected and not collected and there's only ever one basic land option
Make sure you don't have the land filter turned on.
How do you have so many wildcards? Have you really purchased that many packs from WotC?
Is there a specific reason, why you kept the Thorn Lieutenant in the deck?
I tried to explain it in the video :)

Yes, I know. It's that a system like the one I outlined would give them some value, where the creature dying gives you something back.

Why no Sumala Woodshaper?
A little on the slow side for constructed.
tried that change land art thing. they must have patched that which is annoying.
Yeah that no longer works, have to import it through a text file now.
