I just got back from Mexico and this year hit different because my grandpa is no longer with us and it was my first time going back since he passed. Seeing your grandpas smile made me cry. Hug them extra tight.
Both of my grandparents passed almost 3 yrs ago. It hits different going back… i teared up too

I never got to experienced it, they passed away before I could even meet them and even then we never had communication. Que dios los cuide siempre. Grandparents are a very beautiful blessing I loved and cherished my grandparents I miss them so much now that they are gone my grandfather was from Torreón Mexico but my grandparents lived in El Paso I would love to go visit Torreón one day and Aguascalientes from where my grandmother was born I enjoyed watching your video reminded me of whenever we went to visit my grandparents in Texas they would get teary eyed when we would surprise them during the summer months when we got summer vacation I hope you enjoyed visiting your grandparents and family many blessings Happy New Year 🥰🙏

Im so glad you were able to go visit your grandparents. This brought back memories of the last time I went to Mexico 4 yrs ago. My grandpa always wish we could go visit him on his bday. I was 2 months pregnant but still went. I wish I would have recorded it because that was the last time I saw him before he passed away. Love and cherish moments with your family ❤

when when you said Blanca “lets you” i get you because my husband also “lets me” go to mexico a couple times a year to visit family with our kids & its an amazing feeling knowing we have someone back home who supports us & will hopefully soon be able to travel with us 🫶🏼

I can relate so much to being so close to my grandparents and going to Mexico to visit. I did it ever summer growing up and to this day still go it’s like a piece of me will always be in Mexico

I’m so glad you were able to see your grandparents❤ I sadly lost my grandma to cancer and my grandpa from sadness. I wish was able to go visit and hug them again one last time sadly I wasn’t able to say goodbye in person. I cried because my grandparents greeted us the same way every time we surprised them.

Hey I’m from Mapimi Dgo que chido ver Mi Pueblo 🥲
My family is from Durango too and when we go to Torreón we pass Mapimi and there’s a zone where you have no signal but only a specific zone. Once you pass it you have signal, It’s definitely strange. They also refer to that zone as a silent zone.
