Salaam Alaikum, di. Which oil did you use, to fry the chicken? It didn’t look like mustard oil. Or was it? Does it matter, in this case? Mustard oil gives sharpness to any dish, especially Kashmiri one.Should one use mustard oil in this dish?

Yes dear I’m a Kashmiri. In Kashmir we have two styles of cooking... in Kashmir Hindu Familes garlic and onions are very less used or not used at all.. but in Kashmiri Muslim families .. we use onion n garlic .
Yakhni is ma favorite but gab vazvan banate hein to or bhi maza aata hein btw thanks for this dish
