Walking in Heels & Flip Flops With CP

Hi everyone! sorry for my two week hiadus. I think I know have found a posting schedule that will work for me. In this video I walk in heels flip-flops and ragualar walking shoes. Some of the video got cut in the walking in heels section, I don't know how that. happened, but I think you can get the idea.
If you have any suggestions for how I can make heels work better for me or your own stories to do with heels and flip flops I would love to hear them.

Thanks for the video and sharing your experience. I have CP too, except all over. Flip flops are incredibly sore for me, I cant even put them on let alone walk in them. I scuff shoes so much, the don't last more than a couple of months. I usually wear sneakers, the cheapest I can find. I used to worry about ugly shoes when I was younger, but as I get older comfort is a lot more important. It is good to hear what other CP's do about shoes.

This is great - I hadn't realized the importance of shoe wear for a person with CP. I'm researching facts and trying to get a picture of what everyday life is for those with CP as I'm about to write a book with a character that has it. He also has paraplegia, but needs more assistance than you. Shoes - definitely something I'll have to consider in my story!

Hi! I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I have CP as well. You should look into shopping at Zappos Adaptive. They sell all kinds of shoes for the disabled.

Have the physicians discussed possible hip surgery in the future? Seems like a lot of strain on the hips and knees.

You dont really walk that bad like you said flip flops dont really have the support that you need those other shoes did keep the good work you're doing an excellent job

I was wondering at what age you started walking independently? My daughter is 2 and using a walker.She now doing some walking unassisted. We don't know if she will walk without it yet but she is getting stronger.

@hepdrip Not yet. It's posible in the future. I did wear AFo's when I was young but don't anymore. once in a while my hips get sore if I'm in the wrong heels or flats for a long time. Honestly though because my body has gotten used to moving the may I do and using my muscles differently than normal I don't really notice it unless I'm looking for it.
