One step closer to cohesion. Take good care of those blue seats. They're worth a lot since they're hard to come by. The blue interior in general is pretty rare.
hey mike! so, i have a 1989 buick reatta, one of the if not the first car with a touch screen, has a buick 3800 fuel injected engine in it GMs first. i was surprised to find the car itself has a whole diagnostic system on the touch screen it has, when i bought it, there was no cruise control and the car told me, i can check everything from engine problems to electrical. i think it’s super neat!
Man, you're so frickin dedicated. Also, the videos just keep getting better and better, keep up the good work man. You are inspiring so many people with your videos and the work you do
Over here in England,I’ve had a few Ford Sierra Cosworths from 1988,1989 and they had a display (picture of a car from above)that would illuminate the light on the picture when a bulb had gone 😊
Something i cant explain about this channel that just brings me back to simpler times. Really enjoy watching every upload. Shoutout to you Mike, keep on doin your thing ✨🌟💫
Those wheels fit the car really nicely and I have to say, seeing the third brake light wing on the red one makes me understand why do people do the swap, it fits the car very well. If the original cracks so often, its the better thing to do, and it makes the car a bit more sporty.
My 1988 BMW E30 has a separate panel by the rear-view mirror with a light for brake light bulb, one for other rear light bulb, one for low beam bulb, one for license plate bulb, one for low engine oil, one for low coolant, and one for low washer fluid! And it has a button you can push to check all the check bulbs are working! Its so cool, one of my favourite things on the car. When there is a fault a light on the gauge cluster blinks telling you to check the overhead panel lights, and then you push the button to acknowledge it. Space crafty!
Glad to see Caden roll through for this one. Luck is on your side Mike; the intent in both y'all is pure and it is seen by those that see. "We can see it right there", is exactly synchronized with the entering my text.
Dude I felt bad for caden after seeing his engine that motor is complete junk what a headache I'm not saying his quality of motor the series of motor no good too heavy tons of wires hoses crammed into the bay
18:55 To answer the question mike! Yes I have! an even older car. a 1986 bmw e28 has an airplane like check panel on the roof of the car. You press a "check" button, and a light comes on if anything is out! it checks for coolant level, washer level, lights be it reverse or brake, as well as headlights and a few other things too! its really amazing especiaallyyy for how old it is and the fact my car has that was a shocker to me. Its really neat if you wanted to look it up to see!
19:00 the 3rd generation (86.5-92) Toyota Supra has a similar feature. It's controlled by a yellow box module by the rear driver side tail light. Ironically, I had a small electrical short by the third brake light that ended up frying the module. No module, no working brake light. Fortunately, I was able to 'MacGyver' a working brake light by jumping a few pins on the connector that originally goes to the module, essentially bypassing it. I could have left it as is, but was able to find a replacement module, which surprisingly came out of a '87-'91 Toyota Camry. Thanks for the excellent content! Really enjoying seeing this Z32 improved each time!
Its so good to see a car that in the beginning didnt even had an engine to now being an almost fully completed car, and the turbo Idea is perfect because the car will be faster and you have space to put it in! (Which many 300zx doesnt have)
Actually the 90’s ford rangers are similar. Mine, when a taillight bulb goes out (serves as a brake light and turn signal), it won’t blink. It’s quite interesting
Should have ripped that airbag harness out of there while you are in there! Cleans up the wiring and makes adding wires for gauges and stereo stuff easier! Keep dropping the content man!
Its so awesome to watch all the fun you are having. And such neat features on an older car. 25+? Wow that makes me miss my old 88 Ford Escort hatch back. Only car I ever had that got good gas milage.
My 99' e46 (98' production) has bulb indicators for both lights front and back, you can tell which corner needs a light. I really enjoy watching your videos, you got a real good vibe!
It's pretty satisfying to watch every little detail get attention.. I did the same with my civic wagon.. I had some mixed match interior. The 1st gen Honda Odyssey has the " light out indicator" I also think it's a good feature that should have been carried on to all cars..
Your car is coming together so nicely! I have a similar interior cleaner and did my parents car seats and floor mats on the weekend. They looked clean but so much filth came out of them 🤢🤢
my 95 toyota camry I had also had a light on the dash to let me know a rear light was out. I always thought it was cool that it would also turn my lights off if I opened the driver door if I left my lights on when I went to get out.
on the 2g dsm's the entire taillight is the turn signal, so our version of the taillight monitor is our turn signals lol, if one of the bulbs are out you get hyperflash, as there isn't enough resistance to have the proper blinking speed
i have a toyota supra mk3 -89 and it has a brake light monitor box, it is not a high-tech box as i only has a few transistors and resistors in it. these boxes in the supra mk3 are prone to failing because they are located near the rear hatch lock, thus when the weather stripping does not sit tight anymore, the box gets filled with water
You can weld, why not just modify the dash bar as necessary? On the rear seat, there should probably be a piece of metal that holds the carpet up that goes across the back seat, just like in the 240 hatch. Caden seemed like a great guy 🙂 Fun meeting others who enjoy the hobby.
I got my 300ZX today! Your videos definitely helped me decide to just go for it ^^ Definitely in "project" status as well haha, posted a pic in your Discord :) Need a lot of interior pieces (even things like the light switches and airco switches and such) as well, hopefully I can find some in my country or import them for cheap ^^
Nice keep it up man I’m in the process of doin my z interior as well. I plan on putting more content out on mine as well this video helped me a lot keep it up man.
Your videos inspire so many car enthusiasts to keep working on our cars and to never give up no matter what. My 95 Accord(my work truck lol) also has a brake light monitor on the cluster to let you know if you have a brake light out. Why don’t modern cars have this feature??
Oh heck yeah I'm watching your UA-cam video ahead of SoundMan. Much love, respect and appreciation for you Brotha PizzaMike. My Ford Probe has the same way i can change the rear light builb in the turn signals
Ive been using Sprayway glass cleaner for like 20 years. The company actually only sold their product to glass companies wholesale at first. Just in the past 8 years or so they started selling to the general public. I guess they needed to generate more revenue lol would make sense. Also i would recommend not buying the can with that sprayer on it they leave product in the can and aresol gets used up.get a can without that fancy mist sprayer. Works way better i promise
My 89 supra has one. And when the module itself goes bad it kills all taillights till you repair or bypass it. Most owners bypass it as the box is 200 used and is known to fail
man my cars been down and out for like 2 months now, started with an engine issue and the timing chains and now it’s the starter, fingers crossed it’s not gonna have any more issues
Thanks for stopping by!

Man, Mike just has a way of making videos that just makes you fall in love with the cars he's building

Let's go, you bought the extractor. It's so nice cleaning cars, everything you were sitting on unknowningly , Just gets pulled out.

My Mercedes W124 has a single light in the instrument cluster telling me if a bulb is out much like the 300. Nothing as advanced as the E30 though.
Glad to see Caden roll through for this one. Luck is on your side Mike; the intent in both y'all is pure and it is seen by those that see. "We can see it right there", is exactly synchronized with the entering my text.

Looking good. Both those 2+2s looked awesome together in the driveway!
RIP to all blue interiors! Glad to come help out dude.
CJ is an absolute wizard with that camera🔥
Black interior is the good but I think a full blue interior would look killer with the Z color
The cleanest transitions🔥🔥
Watching your videos inspires me for when I want to give up w my build. Greetings from Wisconsin brotha.
She’s coming along nicely, good work!
Its so awesome to watch all the fun you are having. And such neat features on an older car.
25+? Wow that makes me miss my old 88 Ford Escort hatch back. Only car I ever had that got good gas milage.
Perfect video for the time I have at home on my lunch break from wrenching on cars, much love mike keep up the good work
Every Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday, I have something to look forward to, keep it up!
Hi. In europe, the opel senator has also a light module, this for every lightbulb. These where made from 89 til 93.Grts
Yo mike it's crazy how just the small things make it stand out the blue to black night an day way better dude 😎 keep it up
damn i could never tell the difference for the interior till you actually got the black parts! awesome video, keep it up Mike!
I love your videos man... Can't get enough of them... Kaden"s Z was nice... Never seen it in that color before... ❤
This is amazing, the 2 car related channels that i like together
My 99' e46 (98' production) has bulb indicators for both lights front and back, you can tell which corner needs a light. I really enjoy watching your videos, you got a real good vibe!
Cleaning does feel amazing!
especially a car
The content just keeps getting better and better. Well met friend

Loving the new project car🔥❤️ And about the taillight control modual im restorating a volvo 245 from 86 and suprisingly it actually has one.
6:57 thanks for the shout out 😁
Your car is coming together so nicely!
I have a similar interior cleaner and did my parents car seats and floor mats on the weekend. They looked clean but so much filth came out of them 🤢🤢
You motivate me every day to keep saving for my builds . I have a 93 240 I need to manual swap and a 350z .
my 95 toyota camry I had also had a light on the dash to let me know a rear light was out. I always thought it was cool that it would also turn my lights off if I opened the driver door if I left my lights on when I went to get out.

My 1986 Mk3 Supra also has a taillight control module that does the same thing! Super sick feature
The spoiler on the red 300 is nice. Looks better then without. Grts
Fuck yeaaa. It's coming together. Stoked for the swap with Logan, can't wait!!
Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa. Looking forward to each episode. Love the dedication
Hey mike love the 300zx z32 especially tje z31 chassis and im a fan of you! Hope your 240 will be re-painted!❤❤❤
This is also the case in the body of the lexus XE10. When any rear light burns out, it shows on the dashboard 🤟
My 94 accord has a top down view of the car on the dash telling you if a door or trunk is open or if you have a break light out
1987-1992 high trim GD series Mazda Capella and 626's also have the rear lamp warning on the dash
Awesome to see another Z32 restored. Keep going with the Nissans. 👍🏻
19:38 Sadly you can't download fillup because it isn't compatible with newer versions of Android but an alternative app is called drivvo
The transition are just so cleannnnnnnn

Shouldve pulled your air bag light when you had the cluster out. Ended up doing it on mine.
Dammit, good call 😅
It'll have to come out again for the dash bar swap!
Love the way that working on your project cars means you keep collecting new excellent friends along the way 😊
I had that light feature in my 1986 bmw 325e
You can weld, why not just modify the dash bar as necessary? On the rear seat, there should probably be a piece of metal that holds the carpet up that goes across the back seat, just like in the 240 hatch. Caden seemed like a great guy 🙂 Fun meeting others who enjoy the hobby.
My 1986 Volvo 240 has that feature with the tail/brake lights!!
I watch every day. Keep it going. I love the music too.
90 to 93 accords aka cb7 also have tail light indicator
Great Video! My 91 Honda prelude Si has that brake light warning thing as well.
90-93 Accord has the brakelamp indicator that will sometimes come on out of nowhere also tells you if a door is open
Bro at 14:25 due outside tripping walking by
Thats what Im saying
FSO Polonez from 93 up to 2003 had this future for break lights ;-)
Those cinematic shots looked really nice 👏
I got my 300ZX today! Your videos definitely helped me decide to just go for it ^^
Definitely in "project" status as well haha, posted a pic in your Discord :)
Need a lot of interior pieces (even things like the light switches and airco switches and such) as well, hopefully I can find some in my country or import them for cheap ^^
The 79 280zx had the bulb monitor. You had to press a button to check all bulbs.
There are lots of fiats (for exa,ple fiat tipo 2.0 16v since 1989 and some others) that have the lightbulb monitor, for all the lights in the car
E28 BMW has tail indicator for those which have the check control unit, starting in 1981 ;)
Nice Mike. I love the z content. Miss all my fairladys😢
Coming on well bro!!!! BMW E36's from the mid/late 90';s also had bulb check systems in some of them :)
My SC has light failure indicators aswell, really helpful sometimes lol
Hey Mike my 1991 c33 laurel has that brake light feature as well
my 94 accord had a light for if the hood, trunk, or doors were open and also a light for your taillight bulbs, pretty much like bmw
Nice keep it up man I’m in the process of doin my z interior as well. I plan on putting more content out on mine as well this video helped me a lot keep it up man.
In 14:26 then guy should there for a little watching
Your videos inspire so many car enthusiasts to keep working on our cars and to never give up no matter what.

My 94 Honda ascot has a brake light warning, bit it's pretty high spec, the only options it doesn't have is the sunroof and air ioniser
Volvo 240s and 740s have that same sort of "light out" light on the dashboard.
Ive been using Sprayway glass cleaner for like 20 years. The company actually only sold their product to glass companies wholesale at first. my grandpa's 99 maxima has that feature. Great vid btw!!
she's coming on well now Mike. warm regards from Ireland as always man
Mike the 80s supra mk3 also had the tail light module. My car has it and still need to fix it lol
My 89 supra has one. And when the module itself goes bad it kills all taillights till you repair or bypass it. Most owners bypass it as the box is 200 used and is known to fail
13:11 was the best part in the montage ngl
love the content! keep it up!
Man keep up the work. You've motivated me today to work on my 240 in the hot florida sun
These are so rad!
My 1993 Honda accord has the same taillight module even for the 3rd break light

That great he hooked you up. You forgot to install your radio on purpose? Your blue seat pop now since you completed your interior.
Another banger , can’t wait to see what you guys do with the white Z
Probably put a 1.8 sentra motor in it. Lol
@@kynismo88 lmfao don’t say that
300 zx is my all time favorite car
14:19 that dude was plottin 👀
My 95 Volvo 850 Sedan had a Break light sensor
Miss this car so much
