That can be the reason too but you can make custom control binds in the ps5 controller settings. If you don't have a scuff then most people just turn on auto sprint and use the sticks to crouch and jump, people even use the triggers and bumpers.

Just get a ps4 DualShock and a ps back button and u can swap controllers when they warp - easy and cheap way to have back buttons
