I always try buy lean meats woolies has extra lean mince and lean sausages they are a fair bit more expensive but I'm trying to avoid the extra fats and cholesterol.... But i dont buy bulk for example just a packet of each now and again
Excellent video Frank & Mrs Mac. Thanks for letting us know the prices of everything really helpful. I need to report I had a bad experience with Aldi last week. Purchased the pork ribs to give them a try and cooked them as per my usual method when I buy ribs from our local butcher. Ribs were dry, rubbery and had no taste at all. Lesson learned, I do pay extra at my local butcher but the quality of the product is so much better. How did the pork roast turn out?
They need to start adding moisture percentage on meat packaging!

Another grand adventure shopping I see!
That pork was a good price, hope you guys enjoy it.
We call devon, polony in Western Australia. Coles sells those 1Kg knobs as devon and also luncheon meat.
