Bots are not as threatening than bugs. That's actually where I went to play. You just need to have balls. I was playing Helldive on lvl 11. Before than, it was suicide missions. I just kept pushing myself, and I ended up playing with more experienced players that I made friends with. I still play with them today.
At that point, it's just seeing what works. Breaker is great for early game.
Plasma punisher is at least A tier. It staggers and eventually kills in less than half the clip. And when they're clumped up, it is the most beneficial. Stops even the gatling Dev from killing you in Helldive.

I haven’t yet unlocked the Plasma Punisher but I’m working on it ! I just recently used the Jar but didn’t like it if I’m being honest. Lately whenever I play with randoms and they’re lower level they always say how much they hate bots and I agree when I started I was in the same boat 😂 for me bugs are easier they just clump up but that’s where you drop an orbital laser or 500 KG and THEYRE GONE! The highest I have for the levels is 8 I haven’t unlocked the HellDive level yet but it’s mainly because 8/10 times when I play I do a quick play or look for an SOS beacon specifically to help out our fellow HellDivers 💪🏽🦅
Definitely excited to try the Plasma Punisher once I unlock it though!
