Just a quick video on a frigidaire laundry center that was giving me trouble and i thought i would share what got it fixed. The unit was blinking red and green lights. Red 9 times and green 3 times. This indicates a miscommunication error between the main board and dryer user interface. The first time i saw something like this i tried the dryer user interface first but that didn't resolve the issue. the problem ended up being the main board but it could have been both. This time around I tried the main board first but still the same issue. Got the dryer user interface and tried that by itself putting the old board back in and still same issue. This unit needed both the dryer user interface and the main board to repair it. - Навчання та стиль
I've had this frigidaire quiet pack for two years now and had nothing but problems.
I'm replacing the third front control panel on the left after I did the other two hoping
this will get the dryer working again.

On this frigidaire model stackable, is it possible to purchase just the two pick up coils for the gas burner or do you need to purchase a new gas burner to get the new pick up coils, having trouble finding those new style pick up coils for this model gas dryer stackable! Thanks....
Thanks for the video all information helps. I have had the electrical inspector help me on these these PC control appliance. First make sure you have a four wire plug. The equipment ground has to be isolated by itself. Ground Marked with yellow tape in the panel. Electronic appliance is a green with yellow tracer. This ground is not shared with anything and must be isolated.
I have seen the equipment ground tied to the neutral on the plug attachment at termination point in the appliance. This cause the ground to be a current carring conductor which is against the electrical code. This green ground wire is to bond the steel case , porcelain metal cover and used for short circuit protection only.
Lighting storms can damage appliances too along with voltage spikes or drops in power grid voltage.
So keep neutral to neutral and ground to ground. Do not tie together at hooked like old systems did.
I have found to low voltage wires that go to the lid lock corrode black and burnt. The plug on the board turns green and corroded away. I have changed out wires to lid sensor magnet on lid.
Hot water and bleach is eating up these small wires because of location above the water tub. I have found hooking up the water hoses back words because out put lines from the board are backwords and temperature sensors will shut the water off on fill cycle.

The washing machine units worked fine. On a 120 control with 240 volt feed.
These units could run 20 years no problem.
The government in 2008 wanted to save water and forced the manufacturing companies to change their designs to save water. It all looks good on paper but the reality the units are failing. Now these appliances are throw away items.
The cost to manufacture these appliances out ways more in electric cost and steel stamping shipping assembling than is being saved on water usage. The government has created junk for the American consumer and is more costly. The micro processor is not the answer it has caused more expensive cost to create a waste and increase scrap metal.
Conclusion go back to the old way the washing machine was wired. On micro processor is needed. Just keep it basic and simple to wash your cloths. Later.
Same model I have, just used it for the first time. I canceled my Normal drying cycle after 1 hour, and the lights continue to blink green, just like in your video. Is that normal?

When I turned on washer, I just noticed 'white flashes of light' coming from behind my washing machine.
There were approx. 5 flashes of lights.
What could possibly be causing it?

What supplier do you use that allows refund on control board or ui board and if they don't do you just eat the cost of the board that wasn't the issue. Just curious i have wasted a lot of money on boards at 200-400 it can ruin a business but I feel bad for the customer

I just bought this unit slightly used and, when I hooked it up, it did the exact same thing. Would stop before spinning and the washer LED would blink green and red, plus all the water temp buttons would flash together. It ended up being a water pressure issue! I had low water pressure coming into the area where the Washer Dryer is located. Increased the water pressure and it works like new again! I hope this helps.

Ours is brand new just go tit 2 days ago and it keeps blinking red on the dryer what do I do!
Call the place you got it from, try to get them to exchange it. Either that or the manufacturer will fix it. It is under a year warranty bumper to bumper.

Just ordered one of these, was very excited to use it, except now it keeps blinking red and says clean lint filter even though its already cleaned. And it will keep on stopping on you, wont let you go through with the load, it sucks, because if I have to replace the boards that more money I dont have, and I am not electrician and have no knowledge about fixing appliances, so my only option is to hire someone but I have no money so thats not even an option. :(

I have the same machine (mine is the quiet pack model) the dryer only runs a few seconds but I am getting 1 green light and 15 red blinks. What would that indicate?

@@emnyce95 yeah I found that there was a build up of lint restricting the airflow. I cleaned it out and no issues anymore 👍
@@Joeyhall25 mine keeps saying check lint filter. Where was yours built up at? I clean it every time but the dryer just won’t work today
The clean lint filter comes on after every load to remind you. The way my house it build there was a secondary lint trap in the room next door. But actually the issue turned out to be a big blockage on many years at the exterior vent. It was removed and there is no more issues!

I just got a washer dryer Frigidaire combo Monday. A day later, after 6 loads, it dries for about 2-3 minutes then turns off and blinks red. Frustrating as hell. Now dryer light won’t stop flashing.

Still having the problem intermittently. Sometimes the machine works fine. Sometimes it stops after 2 minutes but it dries if you keep restarting the dryer. 😬 it’s a board issue.

I ran into one of these about a year ago… And it was the board in the back with the washing machine wouldn’t work… Turns out I had to order the rear board, and a wire harness because the connectors to the board were melted so I got lucky because it was an obvious problem. ( the biggest problem was trying to figure out the part number or the wire harness) My take away from this machine is… Simply put, the guy who designed this should be required to repair one… Too many circuit boards, between the washer and the dryer , and not very serviceable as the board is in the rear of the machine… I thought it was a silly design
Yes!! Can't tell you how many times I'm cursing out who designed the appliance I'm working on, lol. Glad to know I'm not the only one and good point. They should have to work on their designs in tight spaces also

I just ran into this for the first time this week. It ended up being the element. Thought it was the control board but it wasn't. Save some cheese and try the element first.

What did you do????? Board in front board in back blah blah blah. What was the problem and how did you fix it?? Crap i have the dryer clean lint filter going off every 3 seconds.
