Why Sundown? : • What happens at Sundown?
Steam/mud/lave/etc polluted elementals. You rock on the advice!
The teleportation vs time limit problem is something I would avoid like the plague. If you give your players an impossible problem they can only solve with you giving them a deus ex machina, they will feel that you played alone and they did nothing.
Oh the wondrous ideas in mind now. My players are gunna love this. Great content as always
These are some really good videos
For the shadow fell, i envision it as just the opposite of the fey wild.
The fey wild is bright and warm, the shadow fell is dark and cold
The fey wild is lush and dry, the shadow fell is wet and rotting
The fey wild holds all kinds of secrets and nothing is as it seems, the shadow fell is straight forward and obvious.
The two relms are the opposite in comparison the the normal relm. I also add a very gothic theme to the shadow fell and a strong victorian era feel to the fey wild with the normal relm being very midieval in feel.
The Fern Gully bad guy was named Hexus or something. 👍
(should of put it here in the start aha...)
What should i do if someone tries to keep tying people up when they think they are bad. I am a new DM and have just been doing a strength check and see if they beat mine. If they do the person is tied, because I don't want the NPC (if they are bad) to attack first. All I can think of for roll play is "as the 'NPC' sees you approach him with your ropes he steps back and says "What are you doing" and then says "If you get close it wont be good for you" if they keep going towards him." Or other roll play things... I dont want the NPCs to threaten the PC but i also dont want no consequences for the PC tying up potential bad PCs. I dont want a one stop shop for them to be able to deal with situations.
Keen to here what you think !
post this on r/steelysam and i'll make a video on it
Honestly you came back nasty with the livestream content. As far as shorts, I watch them if there the first couple things my caveman eyes see. I don't hate the short videos Tho. Although I prefer longer content.
This is a bit non D&D related Steely but have you been doing voice over work? There's a Character in a video game I found that sounds suspiciously like you.
would be awesome but no I haven't, what character is it?
@SteelySam I believe his name is Grady. He's a little blue robot from the game Aperture Desk Job. The cadence and pattern of his voice is uncannily like yours.
I'd like to know if there are any spells in DND that specify what their somatic components are other than Burning Hands or if certain spells specify that their somatic components require 2 free hands
He said I'm a FUN dm 🙏🫶🔥
