    I have to say, knowing what ED your opponent is playing (most likely) requires a really in-depth understanding of what every deck does. I would say focus on 2-3 decks each tournament to help with the information overload. You don’t want to confuse yourself trying to remember every ED card in the meta.

    Been subbed since 4k, and legitimately, you're my favorite Yugituber irt current meta trends. No hate to other Yugitubers, but a lot of your content hits on things other people don't hit on, like teaching people who maybe aren't well-versed in the metagame how to think like a pro / semi-pro. There's a gap between casual play and competitive play that isn't discussed often, usually the casual Yugitubers only talk about funny decks with no context in the meta while the meta-focused Yugitubers tend to assume their viewers already know how to think professionally. Which is fine, there's a market for both of those. But it's not often we see Yugitubers instructing players on how to make that leap from casual to competitive.

    #5 is IMO the most important part of yugioh and the hardest. Honestly this video is super good as I kinda suck at side decking and is the thing I'm trying to improve on the most

    That side board theory of making a side card your 6th card in testing; I never thought about that. Very good tip. You really have to get all of the cards as the 5th/6th card to see how they would work. We’ve all been to events and never used all of our side or chosen not to side cards we sided in our list 😂

    Number 1. Pray you win the die roll and your opponent opens up no hand traps. That’s how you win modern yugioh :P

    I would go far as to say that the key for victory/fun in matches in competitive yugioh is how I would build my side deck. I usually like to make mine simple, ultimately 3 of the best picked 5 sidedeck cards, and it's fun to imagine what other players do with theirs and what I would do if I was them. Very inspiring and insightful video overall.

    I could use help determining how to think through a complex gamestate. So many times i go through different lines in my head and get lost during the thought process and end up choosing the wrong line because im worrying about taking too long. Maybe you could present some exercises to help train for this? Im not sure how to best alleviate this issue.

    • @GG_YGO
      @GG_YGO  Рік тому

      So it's very easy to get lost when you're trying to move through different lines and often we get mad at ourselves for making the wrong call. The goal is to always learn from this. No matter how bad the L. The more times we find ourselves in these situations, the more prepared we are for next time. You really have to know how real their follow up is and thats probably the best gauge to decide what the correct line is. Most times.

    Really the best way I got better was upgrading my gear! Playmat, proper sleeves, deck box and binder to protect all my cards. Comfort is key as a casual player and when I do go to locals I have cool swag to show off!

      @@n3kuzya visto che stai seguendo molto contenuto di metagame in questi giorni, lamento informarti che Jesse Kotton ha snobbato infernoble nella sua tierlist particolare. Ha anche detto che rikka è un rogue, ma ok, la sensazione è che da unchained player possa temere il mazzo quindi spesso butta fuori strada chi lo segue in quanti molti lo ritengono un guru (è il miglior player, ma a volte ho la sensazione che non la racconti giusta).

    • @n3kuzya

      @@rachidsouki8614 Jesse ha messo tipo tutti rogue e solo tipo 4/5 deck più alti quindi ci sta secondo il suo metro di ragionamento che infernoble sia rogue. Poi quello che mi da fastidio è quando vedo deck che non fanno niente tipo drytron o swordsoul essere più in alto di deck che meritano tipo infernoble, rikka, marincess e altri. Poi in realtà la posizione nella tierlist non conta molto, tutti mettevano Unchained in rogue o anche non giocabile e poi abbiamo visto che è successo

      @rachidsouki8614 Рік тому

      @@n3kuzya diciamo che tolto unchained e purrely, il resto è ancora da definire. Il fatto che droll non sia tanto mainato favorisce i combo buoni come rikka o infernoble e i combo medi come mannadium, synchron o dark world sebbene come ben sappiamo questi ultimi 3 sono più inconsistenti. Anche mathmech ne giova di questa assenza di droll anche se secondo me con l'avvento di tearlaments (causa assenza di arise-heart), i bystial e i corvi saranno giocati e andranno a colpire direttamente anche mathmech (motivo per cui drytron difficilmente torni in voga). L'assenza di droll ma la presenza di nibiru riduce anche il numero di swordsoul che lo soffre. I mazzi control (a eccezione di salamagna che soffre nib) possono far bene come labrynth post agov e rescue ace anche se labrynth soffre unchained di conseguenza vedo rescue ace come terzo mazzo in discordia per il futuro meta. Dortmund darà qualche indizio del nuovo meta che si prospetta nella sua maggior parte Unchained-purrely.

      It's really good against Unchained if they don't play in an awkward way. The downside is it plays very hard into Thrust so pick your poison.

      @@Boristien405why would you use druiswurm in your turn against unchained assuming obviously you are going second. At that point the board is likely well established and either it's superficial for the opponent or they can just probably negate the summon with caesar if it is not superficial. That should explain why thrust is a broken card ngl ahah
