Excellent tutorial, Alex! Thanks. It helped me work out which RH approach works best for parts of the Bach Allemande we're working on. Btw, when I hired you over two years ago, you never warned me about the hazards of falling in love with classical guitar. I'm way behind on so many things and I don't remember reading that in the fine print of our agreement. Hey, you and T. and family - enjoy the weekend!

I like aimp. It seems to flow more naturally.

I like that as well as miap. Either way, ending on p makes it sound a lot more assertive.

Hey @alexrockwellmusic I really think you are the only person in the whole internet that has talked about the cross-string trill using the double stroke. Well, I'm lying, I found this tutorial over "Tambourin" from Rameau, where it's also explained ua-cam.com/video/G4xHH-KEfoo/v-deo.html But in general terms, I find that this is one of the most convenient ways to approach baroque ornamentation, specially for pieces that where originally written for harpsicord. And I see a lot of guitarists using it, but no one talking about it. Also, even if it seems to be a bit dirtier, if you work on it, it's easy to start controlling it, and to also make it longer by using I, then M and then A.
So congrats for, at least, giving to it a name :D Cheers! If you know more resources about this technique please let us know!

It's talked about a lot in classical guitar pedagogy, it's just that no one seems to be making youtube videos about it. Stanley Yates talks about his approaches to them in his Classical Guitar Technique book.
