Run & Gun Bluefin Tuna | Cape Cod Tuna Fishing 2016

We ran into multiple topwater feeds and were able to finally hook up on the RonZ. This was my first time chasing down tuna, and first time hooking into a fish of this class, thats why I'm a bit surprised when the fish first hit. We landed it after an hour long fight on light tackle, which was something I'll never forget. We had a live mackerel in the water as well and when the tuna hit, it got tangled. You can hear me saying "Should be cut it?" at minute 1:08, which is referring to the mackerel line, not the tuna. I have great respect for these fish and I'm officially hooked after this trip.
Rod and reel specs: Shimano Tallus Bluewater spinning rod (TLS69HBBL) paired with an Okuma Azores Z-90 reel
Line: 50lb Power Pro Spectra. Leader: 80lb Seaguar Blue Label flouro. Terminal: SPRO power swivel and split ring. Line to leader was an FG knot. Leader to swivel was a palomar.
