- Here's a Shelby Mustang GT500 Supercharged fitted with an extremely loud Steeda exhaust system. Video includes the car starting up and then doing some loud accelerations and fly bys!

I own a 2007 Shelby GT 500 same exact color and stripe scheme as the one in this video. All I can say is...it is more fun than...well you can guess the rest. So much power and the sound between my Ford Racing cat back exhaust with the High Flow H pipe and the supercharger whine...I don't think there is a better sound in the world. Every time I start the beast, it puts a huge smile on my face and makes my hair stand up...I feel very blessed to own one of these iconic machines.

i understand what is your feeling when your drive and hear the Mustang. i have one but a V6 345HP. But in couple of year i want take a real V8 supercharge. i just get my 1st Mustand at 20 years old. like in 7-8 yeas later can i get this one V8? idk but it my dream!

This video is one of the main reasons I bought a GT500.
You can hear that supercharger it's got under the hood. Beast sound. I got an 05 gt hopefully I can upgrade to a gt500 sometime soon. That and the boss 302 are my dream cars

I found this video 8 years ago and have been looking for it for 7 years. This gt forever set the standard on what a great sounding car is for me.
Shelby Mustangs... the most legendary american muscle cars ever made. Can't even think of any other muscle car from the good ol' USA that is as bad ass and fast as this ever.

lifeisahaze120 UMM WTF REALLY?!! Yes I did overlook it because it's not even a muscle car in general. Muscle cars are mid-full size RWD 2+2s or Sedans.
The Shelby Cobra is a 2 seater superlight roadster with a beefy engine and compact chassis, a grand tourer (GT) category car not a muscle car. The GT500 was born a muscle car, the Shelby Cobra was a compact sports (The British AC Sidewinder/Bristol) car rebuilt into a GT car.
Know your facts before you speak. The Shelby was the most iconic American 'STREET' Car NOT the most iconic American 'muscle' car.
You want legendary? How about the super stock 'Cudas that would run mid 10's straight off the showroom floor in 1968? You seem to have your eyes and mind closed to the reality that there are lots of equally iconic muscle cars as a bloody mustang. Just coz ford only built one successful muscle car and every Mopar and GM built several doesn't mean it's the best or most iconic. I'm talking Chargers, Chevelles, GTO's, Challengers, Barracudas, Road runners, Daytonas, Camaros. Most all these cars were as fast or faster than a GT500 as well. I know a lot of people who would say they consider the 68 dodge charger to be the most iconic muscle car ever. It's all just a matter of personal opinion. happy motoring.

The Mustangs of any iteration easily go up against nearly any muscle car outside the Hemi Cuda so you're correct, but here's one thing you didn't ever take into consideration.... how much peeps loved it, how many movies it's been in, and how many people would buy or had already. There was a Mustang for just about every one Camaro, Charger, Nova, Cuda, or any other American Muscle car you could bring up.
The Charger, and Challenger had years of being out of action too (from the late 70's to 2006-08 nearly 30 years) , and the Hemi Cuda was discontinued (wasn't even an 80s version). Mustang was ALWAYS around, and there were always differing, and higher performance variations for the mass fan base it had.
Get Mopar's dick outta your ass. I may be a fan boy, but you're clearly a hating ass bitch. Go troll some where else, and I bet you don't even own any of these cars either.

Xavia Oliva It is common for Mustangs to act like this in these situations, but it is controllable if you can actually drive. Just because you can afford the vehicle doesn't mean you can drive it.
That's any car with rear wheel drive and a bunch of torque.

carlos ortiz I have heard some SLR Mclaren's have an insane blower whine but the sounds doesnt have that same amazing quality that the GT 500 does. The only one that comes close is that SLR with titanium exhaust. And its an Automatic only car XD
