@Duecemo I can agree that when people do it for the love and not for money there's just a bit more heart put in things but now with the way the cost of education is nowadays you're gonna find less and less people doing it for the love of the band but you will find people doing it for the love of their education. But like I said before until someone from the Sarge era takes over the band then you won't be seeing all of the old traditions. And it's best if your complaints stay in house

Scooby I was with you before you started smacking the old skool 101. I definitely don't understand why my old skool 101 will get on the net and bash the current 101. Not in my wildest dream will I understand why pre Ellis 101 can't get along with current 101. I refuse to believe all these kids feel the same way Scooby does. I swear the 101 has to be the only school on hear bashing eachother which is downright crazy. Folks keep this mess in house and bring back that big band riff.
All im gonna say is SCSU took the W this year (based off these clips). They had better song selection, they had more energy, and they were more intense. Norfolk sounded great, as always but dey just seemed like they didnt put any effort into anything they did. The Soul Train skit thig was BORING!!!!! And besides Poison & Neck, their spirit mix was just........anyway shoutout to Da 101, TBI, Mello Psi, and ETI...they were BEASTING!!! And KK PSI KILLED IT when they hopped to Neck!!!!!

No matter what name you try to give them they're still the 101 and it will be worn on their uniforms everywhere they go. It's best you give it up. unless you get the right degrees( if you don't already have them) and try to take over as a director you'll be nothing more than a sour alumni from the Sarge era who just can't handle change.

All I'm saying is that you have enough people from outside the program that's creating enough negativity towards the 101. Why would someone who marched with the 101 ('98) add fuel to the fire. MrBsd93, that's Eddie Moe. He was a part of the Marching 101 for a long time. He was killed by a driver who had a seizure while driving in December of 2014. Everybody in Orangeburg, SC knew him

JSU declined because MSU is paying us to play them this year and the band doesnt have anything to do with scheduling games
