  • Chingari Malai Curry is a popular Indian dish! It's a spicy and flavorful curry made with prawns (chingari) in a rich and creamy coconut milk-based gravy (malai kari). Here's a simple recipe to make Chingari Malai Curry:
    Ingredients:
    - 1 pound large prawns, cleaned and deveined
    - 2 medium onions, chopped
    - 2 cloves garlic, minced
    - 1 teaspoon grated ginger
    - 1 tablespoon curry powder
    - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
    - 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
    - Salt, to taste
    - Fresh coriander, for garnish
    Instructions:
    1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
    2. Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute until onions are translucent.
    3. Add curry powder, turmeric, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute.
    4. Add prawns and cook until they turn pink.
    5. Pour in coconut milk and stir well.
    6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
    7. Season with salt to taste.
    8. Garnish with coriander and serve with rice or roti.
