Then he came out, greeted me by giving me a hug, signed a bunch of stuff, talked to me for like 20 minutes, he apologized for making me wait as he was on the phone with his wife and also was writing new material in the moment. I am 27 and in that time have yet to meet a single person nicer then him, anywhere ever. Corey on the other hand seemed, in person, a bit stuck up compared to interviews but might've just been an off night for him. Matt though, nothing but love for his fans and anyone really. So much respect for him, as an artist and as a human.

This is my favourite song off the album. Just such a good mix of heavy to melody and back to heavy. Trivium are one of my favourite bands and whenever they release new music, I play the shit out of it. Usually I kill the song by overplaying it but even the 3 singles I still really love listening to. This album is killer.

I am a recent fan and I bought all the albums. My favorite albums are Shogun, Silence in the Snow and the sin and the sentence. All the albums are good. I am older and the groups I listened to are DIO, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, etc. Trivium is one of my favorite bands. I plan to see them in San Francisco.
I guess the best thing in this track is the transition from first chorus into the Beyond oblivion-shout, as well those cymbal rides and double basses by Alex are killing me in every song. I'm proud of them, this album is really really good. My favorite of Trivium, for me, it even killed Shogun
I love this song from the up front music quality, but also because it had a familiar feel. I didn’t put the connection to Shogun until you said it. 100% spot on assessment.
Despite all the other drummers since Travis, i risk myself to say that Alex is best drummer they ever had to this day. Dude is a monster. He got everything they need. I hope they'll keep him for a very long ride.

the best part of the song for me is the one where there are gang vocals ''what have we done!'' and the ride cymbal makes it glorious
